Default PDF Conversion Links Not Working

I have been using Adobe Pro to convert my Word documents to PDF, but having someone review my current ebook they noticed that some of my links aren't working.

So when the document is converted to PDF, the links that show the full URL work fine. But links that are words with the URL hyperlinked aren't working.

Does anyone know how to fix this or if there is another PDF conversion option that allows the hyperlinks to work?

I just downloaded a free pdf convertor PrimoPDF but that is doing the same thing.

if you have word, you can get a free addon from microsoft (saveaspdf)....it might already be included in MS word. and then just save from word as pdf, no conversion software or anything needed. Most conversion tools dont work right with links.

Thanks Georg, looks like its for 2007, I'm still using Word 2003. Do you know if the links work right with this? If so then I will pay to upgrade to 2007

Personally I use OpenOffice. It works great for launching hyperlinks.

Ok Thanks, I'll take a look at both options, since I already have Microsoft Office I didn't really want to install OpenOffice, so I'll try the Microsoft option first and if that doesn't work I will use Openoffice.

I've recently been through the same problem with links where the text is just one letter while writing my dictionary. If you want to send me a sample page where the problem occurs, I'll see what's going on.

The professional, must-have resource: 'Internet Marketing - The Big Dictionary'. Goodness! It's actually free at the moment.
