How would you market conspiracy videos and books and libertarian leaning self-help book? Any thoughts. I know I did pretty well in conspiracy when I sold it on amazon, but how would I do it for my own site?

You could participate in conspiracy forums. There are quite a few of these. Make videos or post ones made by others on your site. This is a popular topic now. Of course, like in other niches you have to offer content and information and not just sell stuff. This niche also overlaps with natural health and healing, as this audience doesn't trust conventional medicine. Many also market gold and silver investments such as coins to them, as well as survival food.

Agree. You would want to build your branding in a case like this so, forums or facebook groups would be a good place to start. Setup a facebook fanpage, join groups that may be interested. Contribute to the group from time to time then hit them with a link to your book.

Thanks for the ideas. I think I figured out the conspiracy bit. Now for the self help. I, as aiming for a focus on agorism (practice of market based anarchism), but not per se with anarchism and a requirement. Kind of get what I mean? Kind of like the book How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World, but push toward more pratical solutions.

I guess selling eBook will be great, many curious people out there thirsty of secret. Selling affiliate product in your site is not bad too.

But if you desperate, you can try selling some funny shirt about your conspiratorial idea.

Lol, love it. I was aiming for an info product anyways. But I guess how should I target the latter category? Who would be my main audience? I am /hinking of a book about taking personal responsibility for your life, quit blaming government, and instead of creating a cultural revolution, foucs on a personal revolution, and through it transform the culture. I was aiming for making a book that would be How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World, but if Claire Wolfe wrote it.

I have no experience in the conspiracy niche, so I can't speak to that particular niche. However, I do have extensive experience in political blogging/affiliate marketing and can say that I found it rather difficult to monetize due in large part to it being hyper-competitive in terms of getting valuable traffic that would convert. Having said that, the political niche has a ton of low-cost/high-value keywords that have very low competition. I did have a fair amount of luck with Amazon commissions coming from political book reviews that I did. I simply paid attention to books that would be coming out over the next few months. I chose a few of the books I thought would sell well once they hit the marketplace, then I wrote reviews of the books that were keyword-heavy. It worked pretty well for me, but I already had several hundred regular daily visitors to my blog at that point.

Best of luck in all that you do!
