Getting a Coach/Mentor

In the near future, I may be looking for an IM coach or mentor. I was wondering what are the average rates for this, and where should I look?

Thanks!
Matt

i know of maverick money makers, which I found very informative; Im not sure how much it would cost to hire a 1-to-1 mentor!

What sort of things, specifically, are you looking to learn? I am in the middle of making a tutorial video on Adwords & Adbrite and how to leverage it to send endless traffic to your page :-) ! Its a system I have been using for a while now! though i am new to this forum, i have been in IM for around 4 years, and gained valuable experience from it.

    all the best!

    Hi,

I'd start where your interests focus right now. I.E. who's ezine, blog posts, articles, products and services are you running across frequently? Follow your interests and see what the people offer who create and / or sell these. Some people offer all types of help from ebooks, video and audio tools to workshops to full-fledged one-on-one coaching and everything in between, in all types of budget ranges. See what fits in your budget for starters and grow from there.

I've answered similar questions here before. It all depends
on what you want to learn and do.

Fact is many of the big IM people make a big chunk of
their incomes doing launchs and speaking at seminars.

What does this have to do with articles, SEO, PPC, Twitter,
      and so forth?

Not much. For many of them the cash cow is in good
old fashioned salesmanship... talking and winning people
      over.

Now. Do you really want to learn about internet marketing
techniques or do you just want to earn a big income
      selling stuff?

I don't think there is a going rate, as rates vary widely. For example two Warriors that that I noticed are offering mentoring recently:

      Paul Kleinmeulman - $497 a month
      Tim Yeo - $97 a month

The price will be dependent on their experience, track record and whether their skills match want you want help on.

Go check out Jeremy Kelsall's and Don's programs. I know they've got a couple bootcamps and he was running an actual coaching program that was like $27.00 a month.

I know someone that does it for $17 per one-on-one session, with no minimum.

Which makes sense, because not being locked in means you continue only as long as you keep deriving a real benefit.

    All the best,
    Michael
