How to Find UNIQUE Guest Post Worthy Blog Topics?

Ok. I'm really geared up for link building and want to go for a great start with Guest Blogging. My target is to write 20 guest posts! (and I've already got 10)
Meeting their criteria i.e. writing 600 words and exclusive and original content is not a problem. But the real problem is to find UNIQUE ideas.
I DID find some... fortunately. But I would like to save a few for my own blog to make a good impression to those readers.
1. So how do I find Unique Ideas?
2. Also how do I find popular but non-fussy bloggers who would approve my guest post ignoring that I'm a newbie. So obviously going for Problogger or DailyBlogTips is a NO! NO!
3. Further any tips on how to pitch a email that my offer does not get declined will be highly appreciated. :p

Maybe write something from the unique experiences you have in your niche.

I don't know about generating unique ideas,
but You can also search for Guest blog opportunity by
searching in Google using this search term:

    "(Your Niche)" "Write for us"

For example, if your niche is in the internet marketing,
then you'll want to search for

    "Internet Marketing" "Write for us"

When im struggling to think of a topic for my article I normally search my keyword in google keywords, see topics surrounding my niche that have a fair few searches a month and then write about that.

I know my niche very well and was a long term job for me in the past, so any topic I see there is a 99% chance ive got allot to write about it.

Guest blogging is an authority based kind of deal. If you're hoping to get posted somewhere other than a link farm, you're actually going to need experience and expertise in the niche you've chosen to operate in.

You're in IM, and very much a newbie. You may not want to hear this, but if you're stuck after ten articles, this might not be the niche for you. Your best option (if you are stubborn and choose to continue) is to do what fin said and blog about your experiences.

You'll have to change your positioning strategy for that to work though, as you currently seem to be trying to position yourself as knowledgable when you're frankly not.

Maybe, but I doubt it. And that's not a jab at him, either.

Nor should you overestimate. The Internet is littered with "Ultimate Guide to IM" blogs started and abandoned by newbies trying to operate in a niche they aren't qualified for. Not trying to be mean, just realistic.

It's very rare that a newbie can make a blog like that work, and with the evidence you've provided (originally trying to position yourself as a $100k marketer on your blog, unable to come up with more than ten topic ideas, topic ideas written on already covered extensively) the odds are heavily against you.

Why don't you start a side project on something you're passionate about?

You will always have something to write about and will actually be able to improve someone's life.

See what one starts making money first.

I want UNIQUE UNIQUE UNIQUE ideas like
                        * Do you need to show your face on your blog?
                        * Why Say No to Twitter Auto Follow
                        * Why Adsense Sucks (upcoming post)
                        * ... (I don't want to disclose anymore blog posts because I don't want anybody else to steal my ideas and write out that first before me)

Hope you understand what I mean by unique. Writing what somebody else has already written won't make me any special. I want to write different posts like SocialTriggers or SmartPassiveIncome or AttractionMarketingOnline or TrafficGenerationCafe or Skelliewag or...
                        and the list goes on.

Hope you understand what I want to say. Coming up with ideas is not a hard task. But coming up with UNIQUE ideas is what I need some help with.

My advice for that is to live your niche, not just blog about it.

I lucid dream all the time, John goes fishing (but I'm sure he doesn't catch anything), and Joe spends more time at Disney than he does in his own house.

It's simple to come up with ideas when you live something.

I'm not confused with what you were trying to say, just trying to point out that the problem you are having is one that you shouldn't be having. Jamie (fin) just gave you a great piece of advice and I'm going to piggyback on it.

Disney is a niche that I love, and as of June I've been looking into turning it into the cornerstone of my online business. Originally, I was thinking of just one main vacation guide that I would advertise through article marketing (between myself, family, and friends both inside and outside the company I have an inside track on relevant offline publications and can use regular tactics to partner with online outfits). But it turns out that what I know about the company would take a lot more.

After talking with my friends on Skype, I ended up with a 12 book series. Fast forward to today and that number is at least doubled. Thus far, I've only told you about the products I'm creating, how about articles? I have well over a 1,000 ideas on the back burner that I'm starting to go through along with site design. More ideas come up every day.

Was it hard to do this? Not at all, because 1. It is a niche that I love (IM is merely a means to an end: I'll run Disney World sooner or later) and 2. I'm as much of an expert as you can be in a niche that doesn't come with a college degree. Now, I'm not saying that you have to hit that same volume of content ideas to be able to move forward in a niche. Rather, I'm trying to point out how easy it should be to come up with ideas in whatever niche you're trying to operate in.

If your knowledge in IM is limited to the 10 blog ideas you've quoted, and you don't have enough passion (either because you love the niche or you're damn determined to succeed in it) to come up with anything more than that, then IM is a niche that you shouldn't be wasting your time on.

I'm not underestimating anybody. I'm talking about reality. Most people, and I'm one of them, suffer from 'what you don't know that you don't know' when starting something new. We go into things brimming with confidence, unaware of some the rocks in the path we can trip over. Once you trip over those rocks a few times, you learn to watch where you are going and make better choices about where you step.

Like I said, I was not taking a personal jab at you.

First off, I spy a troll on this thread... And yes, that means the person posting about the boots.. really? How lame.

Second, MakeMoneyKid - here's a couple of ideas for unique content for blog posts for you:

1 - A number of people have mentioned about you being a newbie (I'm one too), so instead of trying to cover up the fact, why not make some posts from that perspective?

There are TONS of people out there that are in the same boat. Even more so, there are tons of people out there who haven't made it as far as you have; they don't have a blog, a product or anything. They just keep buying the next shiny product hoping that they will happen to discover the holy grail.

Why not talk about your challenges? Your mistakes? Things you would do differently if you started over from where you are now?

Those could all make wonderful guest blog posts and appeal to a wide audience that is looking for answers.

2 - You mentioned that you have been doing Google searches to find ideas, but need to do something unique... Instead of writing on the same topic that someone else has, why not find ways to take an opposite stance on those topics and do your research so that you can provide a valuable post.

For instance, everyone talks about why you should use social media to market your blog, why not look for reasons why not to and state alternative methods that could work better? I'm not saying that's what you need to write about, it's just an example and you can apply this to anything.

Anyway, I hope that helps... Just trying to give you a different perspective.l

If you have great content I don't see why anybody would improve. But just cuz you have a comment don't mean you have a sale. You could have a sale and less cotent and one curoiuse custoemr. That is now how it should be approached.
