Would Clickbank work?

I was wondering... I've never used Clickbank before, and since it is new to me, I would like to ask if this is a good strategy for Clickbank's model.

If I have a killing squeeze page (well-designed, own domain name), video testimonial, good content (review), and good targeted keywords, is it a good idea to promote a clickbank product? Will it work?

I am asking this, because I don't know the exact way people promote clickbank products.

Would appreciate any answer.

    It can, certainly, if you understand all the other fundamentals and get all the other details right.

    The only "reservation in principle" I can see, from what you've said above is that, in my experience (and that of many others), SEO traffic is about the worst-converting kind, overall, for making ClickBank sales, out of every traffic source I've ever tried. And then, of course, there's the fact that Google's frequent algorithm-changes can suddenly take it all away from you - so it's very much a Google-dependent business rather than an independent one. So you perhaps wouldn't want to be too dependent on the "keywords" parts of it?

    But there's no reason, in principle, why what you suggest shouldn't be part of a profitable affiliate marketing business, and there are certainly people here making money from that and similar models.

    That can have advantages, sometimes, as well as disadvantages. Bear in mind that most people who "promote ClickBank products" do so unsuccessfully.

    I agree with you that SEO can't be the main source of traffic in this case (for many reasons, changing algorithms, a lot of constant work and it requires a lot of time), I was actually talking about AdWords, but forgot to mention it.

    Actually, you might want to make sure you can get some intel on the EPC of the offer because in the end the EPC or the visitor value to you - is going to make you money.

    Build a authority website and review some best products related to your niche. Driving traffic through SEO is good but not converting well . Instead of this try PPC to drive targeted traffic and test your website or landing pages for conversion. If it converts well then continue and do SEO also.
