What do you mean by new sketch?

If you want to outsource a video then I don't think you will find anything half decent for less than 100s per minute. Even fiverr crap turns out to be like $10-30 per minute and is not even worth as much.

Making something more basic yourself won't get the same result but will save you 1000s if you are just starting out without adequate capital.

I use sales video to give my customers the "cliffs" of what the sales page is saying.

Lots of people hate reading a lot of copy and prefer the sales video instead.

Just a suggestion: I know everyone is using them so it creates the desire to get one made yourself, that's fine and dandy but MAKE sure you split test it because everyone I speak with used or testing them are getting mixed results.

I think you are talking about the sales videos in websites like truthaboutabs dot com. Your question indicates that you are not experienced in trial and error method. In fact you don't need to be. Because, wherever you've seen this type of sales video, try to find other sales pages with similar video in the same niche. Example: This is now a trend in weight loss clickbank products. And I'm sure they work for this niche. That's why marketer like Mike Geary has been using it for soooooooo long. And others are also following the same path.

So, it completely depends on your niche. Don't try to experiment and put a 3 pin plug into a 2 pin socket. It'll fail.

By the way, if you are looking for some videos to make, go for any freelancer site like odesk dot com and post a job like below

"I want a custom and unique video similar to the one in examplesite dot com. Please quote with an example of similar, previous work example. Please mention in your quote the below sentence-

"I've seen the video and I can make similar video."

Please note: Applications without above sentence will be rejected without interview."

Don't take the first one. Or the highest or the cheapest one. Look at their previous work, client reviews. Variations of quotes. Then look at fiverr dot com for similar work. This research will optimize your result.

Don't just follow the crowd as generally when a new sales video type emerges people tend to get sick of seeing them.

A video with proof that what you're selling works backed by testimonials works best regardless of what type you use.

I really do not understand your question. Because you do not describe the type of videos you saw.

It's all well and good being all fancy but KISS wins everytime (keep it simple stupid) the authentic videos where genuine mistakes are made, pauses in breath and overall is the person themselevs usually convert best.

It all depends on the whole angle and how you are positioning your video... also, timing... you don't wanna launch a sketch video on same day as soneone else in same niche... because the other artist might be more creative, more relevant etc... I would would take Matt B advice and split test, atleast you have scientific proof your conversions are real!
