Who uses the WSO blogs?

Does anyone use the blogs that are being sold in the WSO section? Some of them look nice but will they make anyone any cash?

Would it be best to save the cash and just build your own from scratch?

Well, I've sold a fair amount of PLR blogs, so people do use them. To get the most from any PLR, you need to add your own unique content and promote them. It's not all set and forget, but a lot of work is already done with them. They have premium themes usually, have great design, have some articles already loaded. They are like any blog. The more you put into it, the more you get out of it.

Noooooo ... not for anyone like me, it wouldn't. It would take me about 100 hours to do what you can buy there for $17 or $27 or whatever they cost.

You still need to get traffic, update them, and so on, of course ... but if you don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of time on something that might produce a result about a quarter as good as what you can buy in there, it doesn't bear thinking about, at all.

I'm constantly astonished what value there is, there.

Your main problem will still be to add good quality content, as the others already pointed out. However, a premade blog could serve as a starting-point, let's say you wouldn't have an idea about how to make your own site with Wordpress etc. Just don't expect to get a $20 site with a few articles on it and then, magically, you will be #1 in Google based on some overly general PLR articles or something. Won't likely happen.

If you're a kind of control freak like I am and like to build everything from scratch so you can really point to it and call it your creation, then yes I would recommend pocketing the cash. Otherwise, what's the point? You have the opportunity to get to the same point on the line a lot faster for a relatively cheap price.

Build it or buy, doesn't matter.

Just pick one and stick with it. You'll need add content either way and promote it either way.

We have become so spoilt with the ease of creating a site these days (and the value of these pre made blogs being offered) that we think there must be some catch.

I myself am a sucker for buying these blogs. Then I go right ahead and create my own from scratch anyway.

Build it yourself the way you wanted, anyways sometimes you may end up doing more work for the "bought" blogs and tailoring them..

I personally build sites form scratch when I need one..
