Rebranding and Repackaging PLR Products...

I've never used PLR products to build a list before. My advice is to not over complicate it though. When you buy a plr product, you should get it in word format. Simply open it up, rewrite whatever you see fit and put your own links into it. Then give it away on your squeeze page. I'm struggling to see how you find this difficult. I'm sure you can get all the information you need by typing "plr rebranding" into Google search results.

Just make sure the content you are giving away is quality. Most PLR i've seen are rubbish.

I would start by asking what you plan to deliver and how you plan to brand yourself in business. Is there a specific 'area' that you plan to focus on so you can become an authority?

For example, maybe you love self development and you practice some of those things in your life already. You are going to enjoy learning more about self development, finding great self help products to promote and recommend.

You can use PLR products to help you build this brand. So maybe you start a self development blog that focuses on developing self confidence for men. I would take some time to write a bit of unique content on the topic so that you actually know what the heck you're talking about.

Then you can use PLR products to have a free opt in gift. You can use PLR to build an autoresponse sequence. You can use PLR products as a low cost upsell in your funnel. You can use PLR to build a membership site with different self development courses and exercises. You can use PLR in a JV where you put some of your content on the download page of someone else's product to build your list.

Having a solid base of PLR would save you a TON of time.

To rebrand it, as the previous commenter mentioned, make sure the PLR provider gives you Word or some kind of editable version of the content. This should also include PSD versions of any ecovers so you can create your own.

If you really want long lasting income I would highly recommend you do the branding and writing yourself (at least in the beginning) so that you have a command on the subject. You can outsource the low level stuff like ecover design or PDF formatting, setting up the membership script, etc...

What you nedd to do is look through the information PLR first.

Then decide whether YOU would trust that marketer again and open the next email he/she sends out to you.

If the answer is yes, then re-write that information your own words, add some of your experiences and writing style to it.

Change the title of the PLR, get a front cover image made at Fiverr.com and slap it on that product to make it 100% your own to give away.

This allows you give away an original product that hasn't been downloaded by many others before.

Makesure it is of high quality though and not half hearted fluff and filler information.

Follow up with your subscribers with even more outstanding information in your follow up sequence to keep the momentum and relationship strong.

This will place you in a great position when you come to recommending products to them further down the line.
