Can a Self Made Affiliate Program Be Profitable? Or Join an Established One?

Hello Warriors,

I wanted to get your opinions if you think starting an affiliate program such as "Has Offers" can help boost leads/sales or if our business should take a route to joining an already established affiliate program like commission junction? Thanks in advance!

i would start off with the ones already established and make it a long term goal to also create my own as your own can be a bit complicated as far as costs and the tech sides of it.

There is some software to start your own affiliate programs, but if you are just starting out, maybe stick to the ones that are already established. They have lots of people looking for things to promote, so you will probably get more people promoting your stuff.

Thank you guys, I guess I'll start with an established one. Do any of you recommend any good affiliate programs that are established that do not require a lot of investment to get started? Or free trial? etc?
