Putting pre-launch videos on YouTube...Bad Idea??

I've put together some valuable and informative videos on nutrition/exercise for my new project -- How To Get Abs Fast - Six Pack Success

Is it a bad idea to put these videos on YouTube or does it help my marketing?

Anybody with experience with a word of wisdom?

If it's your own product I wouldn't give crap if people spread it around.

The more publicity for your own product, the better

When it all boils down to traffic, you want more of it and the more people are aware of your product the better. To be honest, even if you put it out and no one is viewing your video it can be difficult if you are starting out. On the other hand if you already have thousands and tens of thousands of subscribers it would be easier for you to rank on youtube and get the visitors and views you are looking for.

There are a lot of guys up there searching for the newest uploaded videos on Youtube, so be careful.

Im new, but my opinion is that you can do this and its probably smart to, but I wouldn't do it for an MLM or anything that is duplicated by a ton of other people. If this is your own thing then sure, go for it.

If you are worried about people stealing your videos (and it probably will happen) then all you need to do is leave out a key part of the product so that they don't get it all...
Use the videos as a preview and then make sure to mention the rest of the product and where to buy it...
Should get you a few extra sales!
