Offline + Online = CASH

I am one of those not-so-active members of this forum. I spend about 99.99% of the time reading and reading and reading. I forget to add my two cents and comment.

I just wanted to share with the forum that I have found some success in merging my offline skills with my online knowledge. In the first few years of trying my hand at this online stuff, I was looking down a very narrow tunnel. "Make Money Online" was my goal and that's what I intended to do.

It wasn't until I opened up my focus a bit more and saw what was going on in the **real** world--the offline world--that I was able to put two and two together and really start to make a good income using online techniques.

My number one piece of advice that I have for newbies starting out in this game is this: open your front door. Look around *your* world. Where can you find the intersection between the offline interests and skills that you have and the online world? I guess this is just another way of saying "find your niche," but I think it goes deeper than that.

My other piece of advice to people starting out--stay focused. I wanted to start a million different things, but instead (over time) I brought it down and was able to focus it to three simple things. And those three areas are 100% of my online income. In time, I can build to four or five or six, but I wanted to make sure I had some viable streams already set.

Finally, it has happened.
