First, know your target market. In an online perspective, you target your market by way of keywords.

Once you are set with that, plan a marketing strategy. In the internet, there are two ways to market your product at an efficient manner. You could either go for SEO or pay-per-click ads. Take note that PPC ads are more pricey compared to SEO.

With your budget, you can risk it with PPC and gain potential conversions. Conversions in PPC are much faster compared to SEO. However, if you want a long-term presence in the search engine with less budget spent, I advise you go for SEO.

For long term viability it actually has to be a business, and not just a promotion of other people's *stuff* dependent on your ability to create or buy traffic.

Easiest for me:

1. Find what is selling with an irrational passion in your interested market.

2. Make sure you can easily reach the market.

3. Take target product, get it produced cheaper and sell at a lower cost.

4. Clean up.

In the physical product world, 2G could cover quite a lot of options, especially with outlets like Alibaba and the many IM'ers who have staked out small claims getting their list to know like and trust them, and never going any farther.

You Tube and Face Book searches for low level leaders is fruitful.

Many times they will promote for extremely low cost, or even product.

Keep your $$$$ in your pocket and do the following

1. Invest some Money to purchase War Room Membership

2. Visit this forum regularly and teach yourself before doing anything.

You can find a wealth of information about online business , Internet marketing , affiliate marketing here FREE of cost.

Don't look for some secret formula to be successful. Internet marketing is a process , not a magic wand. Once you get enough knowledge about it invest your money wisely.

Sounds simple, it isn't. The easy part is setting all this up, the hard part is learning how to market effectively and get repeat customers.

This is not easy to answer your question. When i was in this type of situation i did prioritize my all of the options. My fast task was to put fresh and quality contents in my websites. In my content you would get everything about my product. Then i need to set payment most reliable and most secure payment option. I did promote my products in all possible ways. Definitely it was not easy and it took lots of time. Now success come. If you want then you can my strategy.

Do not spend your precious $2000. You will find out how easy it is to lose thousands of dollars in the end (eg domains, hosting, outsourcing). You don't want to do that. I highly recommend that you find a way to make even more money first before you decide to spend that cash.

The last thing that you want to do is end up with no more money. Use your $2000 for your emergencies where it is 100% needed to spend cash.

People use their money very incorrectly in the IM scene. There are ways to make money online without investing anything. I would know - trust me. Save your cash for now.

The #1 thing people would recommend you do is affiliate marketing, but you should consider learning how to offer services first to make your money grow. You can try being a writer, designer, or even offer services via Fiverr. Make some cash first and make it grow later on and get into bigger things in the future.

I would say don't try and buy more money by spending that $2000 in lots of products and services thinking they'll automatically make your rich / more cash. Learn first without spending. Think about the different ways to make money online and see which one would suit you best then when you have a decent understanding of how internet marketing works decide what you're going to do, make a plan, have a strategy, focus and stick to it. Don't throw money at it just because you have it, make wise purchases for things you absolutely need. Your money will soon disappear if you're not careful.

The very first thing you need to do is TONS of niche/market research. Make sure there is a market for the business or service you are going to provide.

Next, figure out the business model. Are you going to do affiliate marketing, product development, CPA marketing.

Focus on one area and become good at it. focus on one traffic method and get good at it. You have a lot and I mean a lot to learn, if you want to shortcut your learning curve, then I would suggest that you invest into a mentorship program and get trained by someone that, already has success in this business.

Essential 1: Autoresponder account (aweber, getresponse, etc)
Essential 2: Any product guiding & teaching you ppv marketing wisely.
Essential 3: Domain name & web hosting (hostgator the best!)
Essential 4: Squeeze pages

Step 1: Setup account with autoresponder
Step 2: Setup squeeze pages based on your niche with CPA offer from your approved CPA networks.
Step 3: Marketing with Lead Impact to get emails optin @ subscribers
Step 4: Follow up & promote your CPA offer with your mailing lists
Step 5: Track, split test, & do more analysis.
Step 6: Repeat what works.
Step 7: Collect your profits! :-)

"Focus" in the last post is the key in my opinion. Do your homework first and then stick to one system. Being here is a great start. Read and learn. Give yourself a deadline for learning the information. For example, tell yourself you will read 25 threads a day for one month. At the end of the month take some action. Don't spend the whole 2 grand right away. Start small, but take action and grow when it starts to make money.

I would add, if you choose wisely you can get the necessary tools and support fairly cheaply if not mostly free. Don't skimp on the autoresponder. But read all about building a relationship with your list before you start this process or you will just be spending the monthly fee and not getting any reward.

The last thing I would consider is spending some of your dollars with a mentor or coach. This can be expensive, but what I have found in my short time in this business is it is often more important the connections you make.
