Product Vendors...Why wouldnt you put it on CB?

What would be the benefit of not putting a product on CB? I am making my own product to put sell on my site but why wouldnt I put it on CB? I mean if I sell it I still get all the money plus maybe some affiliates will sell it as well?

    Actually, I would. What the Warrior Forum is great for is to test a product. Get the sales letter, funnel and delivery all dialed in. Then sell it cheaper than you do or will on CB.

    See how well it converts, gather testimonials and fix any flaws in the system. Use everything you gather on WF for both CB and to improve your WF sales thread.

    Kind of like buying paid traffic to test out a squeeze page sort of thing. I mean, for less than $50, what other focused traffic source even comes close? And the information you gather can be very valuable.

    In addition, you now you have 2 sales processes. Just have two different landing pages on the site. Now you can make sales from both WF and CB. Double your fun.

    Do not put a CB buy button on an IM Product - your refund rate will be in excess of 60% in most cases.

    The reason is simple: the IM buyers know there is a 1 click refund and no questions asked.

    For NON IM Products - use a CB buy button all day long - works GREAT!

        He means don't use CB as your payment processor. The button can be whatever button you want to use (whatever clickable image you like).

        An upside to clickbank is the affiliate database. It is easy to promote a clickbank product. Downsides being the additional $50 charge to list your product and the high refund rate in the IM niche.

      Awefully broad brushstroke you are using there isn't it? I am working on my own IM product and am going to put it on CB. I am going to offer an awesome bonus for my customers who don't get refunds...it will automatically be delivered/available to them on day 61 after the purchase.

      If they get a refund, access is denied to member's area modules/forum, which is where the bonus will be revealed on day 61. (I'm using kajabi and it makes this easy by using the evergreen option for content)

      Yes agreed on the high refund rates in CB for IM niche but its same throughout the niche or only in sub niche like MMO. I feel only make money programs under IM niche are affected by high refund rates mostly due to the "over" hype in the sales pages...

      I still think software/ wp plugins in IM niche via CB can do a good residual income though...

    broad brushstrokes tend to save a lot of people a lot of headaches. They can also cover a few nuggets that might make it and might be immune, but thats the price you pay with a broad brushstroke.

  • On top of the inherently higher refund rates in clickbank's IM products, there is also the problem of your target prospects (IMers themselves) using their own affiliate link to get an instant XX% discount out of the blue, keeping your legit affiliate (whoever brought him to your site) of his legitly earned commission.
