How to increase my low rated fiverr gig?

Hello,

I just want to know that one of the person gave me negative review due to which my rating got to 50%. Is there any way that I can increase it ratings? can I contact him on fiverr and tell him that I will do your work again and submit you in the soonest time?

P.S. I'm not marketing my gig here

You can contact him and offer him a better service. If he kind enough, he'll accept it but if he doesn't then it will stay. You can get more sales and try to get more positive feedback so that your rating will increase more than your current ratings.

Buyers can change their feedback on gigs they have purchased. I think he can change the feedback he gave you if he wants. Maybe you just needs to beg him to change the negative feedback to positive. How about giving him some bonuses? Just remember to be polite.

No chance for begging. I will go for bonus! Will see what will happen.

Resolve with the old buyer. New buyers won't come with a 50% rating. That is worse than no feedback.

I'd go for more sales for your fiver gig.

More sales and good ratings will of course balance it out, but I think it wouldn't hurt to communicate with the buyer and offer him a free gig or a revision. It's not only for your rating, but also for the possibility that the person can become a regular customer if you can sort the problems out.

The worst case scenario: he would say no.

The best case scenario: he would accept it and give you a higher rating (provided that you do a good job) and then "maybe" send you a lot more work?

If you can deliver work that they are happy with then they can change the feedback at anytime and the comment they left.

Delivering what people want for in future gigs will make your rating rise, the percentage is worked out from those that have left feedback, so if only 1 person has given you negative, then only 1 has given positive too.

Get another positive and you will be at 67% and then 75% so it will soon rise, I have only had one negative and that was from someone selling a similar gig that just bought it to remove my 100% Positive feedback, sadly a downfall of Fiverr, so watch out.

It is a great platform to get you started and get some feedback and testimonials that can be used on your own site and in real world, so for people wanting to offer small services its a good place to start.

Hope this helps and good luck.

Some buyers are your competitor or scammers and they'll like if you have a low rating gig. Just keep giving good service to your new buyers.

    • Dump this Fiverr account and start over.

Ordinarily I wouldn't suggest that but you've only got two feedbacks and one of them is bad.

I too thought about creating new account but the problem is I have put my E-mail address (which I also use for paypal) to this account. If I create new one and even if I do good work at that time then later I have to give the same account (paypal) which can results in BAN. Even I also started with new account but when I later thought about paypal It brought me to re-think, that's why I have created new thread.

            I think you're a little confused.

You can have multiple Fiverr accounts. I do, lots of other people do too. What you can't do is create a new account after you've been banned.

But don't take my word for it. Ask Fiverr support.

You can have up to eight email addresses linked to your PayPal account, so create a gmail account and use that.

I do agree. Bro, it is time to start over. Customers sort based on ratings all the gigs. 50% puts you at the bottom of the pile where no one will see you. Start fresh and add video to your gigs. That is real hot now. Fresh is the taste as they say. Hope you learned your harsh lesson and will not make the same mistake again. Like you need 95%+ to play this game.

This seems like the best option - least amount of stress and your other customer doesn't have you by the balls.

It would probably be better in starting over again with a fresh account, as it will be quite difficult in attracting potential buyers with a 50% feedback score.

You could make a new account, but don't make a new account without even trying to convince the buyer to change the feedback. Offer him the same service again plus some bonus. Goodluck with it and let us know how it went.

If none of these pieces of advice work, you'd still have a final step. Ask him to remove his feedback and then contact Fiverr support, tell them you and your buyer want to mutually cancel a gig.

As per some people guidance I contacted that person from which I got that negative review. He got ready to remove that, but later he said that this is not from him but from fiverr. I then contacted fiverr regarding that and Voila! they removed it and my gig's ratings move to 100%.

      Anymore advices?

Owh! Congratulations then. Well, no matter what methods works..You finally get your good ratings back. Maybe you didn't deliver the gigs on time and the buyer cancel the order so you've got negative feedback from Fiverr. However, just remember to communicate with your buyers if there's any problem next time and you both can solve it together.

It's simply a case of bad luck. You will always meet users on fiverr that seem to want a $500 service for a $5 price tag. You have just stumbled across a user that rated you negatively early on in your business.

I would say you have two options.

    1. Continue with the same account and wait for the percentage to rise. (personally i wouldn't recommend this, very few will order from a user with 50% and even if they do, you cant guarantee they will give a positive rating).

    2. You chalk it up to experience, you take it on the chin and you start over. Everyone in life has had set backs, whether it be IM or otherwise. Start over and make sure it doesnt happen again.

Just delete the gig and then repost it. Try it and see what happens.

I suggest you focus on getting more orders and then make sure you get good reviews from them. In business you will always find people trying to make your life difficult or someone having a bad day just sending out negative energy towards you.
Don't worry about that negative review and focus on the new ones to come

50% is an eye-sore. It all boils down to math. It will take alot of sales just to put you back up above 95%. So start over with a new account, and make sure you deliver on-time, with the best service/effort as possible.
