Hey there.

I am in search of some resources that may help me improve my grammar to help my content writing skills. Does anyone know of any good tips for doing this ? Maybe a book or something of that nature?

Thanks, Joe Crosbie

    Hi there,

I used to teach business writing, and one of the most reader-friendly grammar reference books that I found was REWRITE RIGHT by Jan Venolia. It's now in a second edition, and you can buy a used copy on Amazon for just a penny plus shipping.

By the way, I salute you for your grammar self-improvement project!

I chose entrepreneurship over further education despite being laughed at by my friends and family..

I recently hit the "RESTART" button on my life, read my personal blog to find out how I did it :)

Took your advice and bought one book, for a penny I can't go wrong.
Have three kids - I would be happy if they ready 10+ pages each.

Just about any style and grammar guide will help.

Check out your local library and see what titles they have available. Even a small library should have a few books to get you started.

    All the best,

Hi, Joe. The classic book that writers turn to for help is The Elements of Style, by Strunk and White. You should be able to find it on Amazon for a reasonably cheap price. The other resource that I often use is the Chicago Manual of Style. It has everything you need. If you want something free, maybe you should check out some professional writers' blogs? Copyblogger is one, and there are many others. Hope this helps!
