Ebook Web Design

Just wanted to share that I finally bought the domain name that I was after for quite a while. The domain name is ebookwebdesign.com

It was up for grabs at godaddy for USD$800, I stumbled upon it today and it was up for AUD$285, so I got it.

I do ebook web design for living and think that this is a great investment.

What do you guys think? Has anyone bought any descriptive domain names like this?

    I bought Total Resale: The DYNAMIC Software and Ebook Resale Rights Package and Ebooks Business as my first investments.

    ebooksbusiness.com was a success for me actually. I sold quite a few resale rights ebooks, and then created my own ebook telling people how to replicate the system. Obviously my ebook had affiliate links within it and it became reasonably viral.

    The whole ebooksbusiness market has changed considerably since then, that's why the .co.uk is for sale on Sitepoint at the moment.

    Good luck with your new site. Looks great. When you say you "do ebook web design", do you create the graphics (covers, headers etc)?

    Discriptive domain names are awesome and I am telling you "ebookwebdesign.com" was worth buying at 800 so 285 is a steal. Great job!!!

    By the way, your design is great. IM me with your details, I am looking for a good designer.

    I looked at your site, but don't quite understand who the site is for. You have Google Ads, YouTube videos, some content, but what is the purpose of the site? Do you design websites for ebook writers?

    swiftdeal - i write the content myself.
    i just got this domain name today, so i just put some info there about myself and the projects that I have been doing.

    i am hoping to make it either a way of getting extra business or a highly optimized site for the niche and allow others to advertise there for a cost.

    would anyone be intersted advertising on my website if I get some decent traffic to it? ebook web design niche is very big and I wouldnt mind sharing a link (once site gets PR) and some business.

    I don't think you can go wrong with ultra-descriptive domains. It'll be clear what you do the moment anyone sees your link, and it has to help with SEO considering your keywords are gonna be in almost every backlink you ever get.
