Email subscriber value - physical products Vs digital products

INTERNET MARKETING

Anyone had direct experience of physical products Vs digital products in the email subscriber space and can give their opinion on which area has the more value per subscriber?

I know the answer is hugely variable on the niche and your relationship with the list etc....... However im assuming conversion on physical products is better (assuming your list is targeted) whereas for digital products - the commission is higher.

If you target a niche that people are REALLY passionate about, like golf or something, and write reviews about new products, you might be able to get some good conversions with physical products.

I don't think you'll get many sales just blasting people with emails containing pictures linking to amazon though.
