Affiliate Marketing [To-Do List] ?

INTERNET MARKETING

I want to get involved in affiliate marketing via promoting Clickbank products.
I'd like any tips or add-ons on my to-do list if you all could help?

Find product to promote
create squeeze page
promote the landing page/website itself (SEO, etc)
build an email subscriber's list
Anything else...

Though I am confused on how to select a converting product. Such as things that say "gravity" etc. alongside the product description. How can I pick a great product?

Conversion figures and sales figures are not made available by ClickBank.

There are many other sites and "services" that offer their own wild, extraordinary and inaccurate guesses of ClickBank product sales numbers (though they tend to call it "calculating them from our own proprietary software", which is nonsense), and personally I recommend that you stay well away from all of them.

What matters is what converts your pre-sold traffic, anyway. And you can't judge that from other people's figures.

WP blog is nice to start. Build trust for your readers. Give something valuable and the return are promoting your CB products to solved their problems.

You are looking at it too objectively - theres way more to marketing then just the offer its self and landing page.
You need to ensure you find a good angle on the offer if needed, along with extensive testing for multiple ad copies and pages depending on how you advertise.

Some of the smallest changes will double your returns. Never give up!
