MUST WATCH VIDEO - Great Lessons To Be Learned

I know some of you suffer from ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

I know many of you will make any excuse possible to yourself to not watch a long video, your outer game will tell you watching funny cat videos on Youtube is much more interesting.

I know many of you procrastinate. You'll put off doing anything useful which contributes to your business success.

Me? Personally, I'd like to bang all your heads together to get you collectively to wake up and smell the roses. Alas, unfortunately I can't do it.

So let me put it to you this way...

If you don't listen to this interview, you're only hurting yourself.

Please, please, please play it and LISTEN!

This will do you the world of good.

Yes there will be boring bits which for you, you might feel don't apply. Or that you already know this point. Or that point. Or another point. But bear with it. You know at times you waste enough time as it is watching all kinds of trash online, so this time...

Commit yourself to listening to this all the way through to the end.

Newbies, start ups, intermediates, and even full time successful marketers plus gurus alike - you'll all learn something of extraordinary value by listening to this interview.

Don't make me bang your heads together!

Pay attention to your inner game.

Here you are...

Ken McArthur talks to Tony Robbin's copywriter

With my compliments.

You're more than welcome, some really good nuggets of advice in there.

Come back with your thoughts after you've listened to it all the way through. I'd be interested to hear your opinion.

      Hey Mark,

Since you are a copywriter - and apparently a smoking hot copywriter - maybe you can explain to us (ADDs and the like), the tactic of insulting your intended audience and then telling them what to do.... I'd really be interested in knowing more about the conversion ratio of this.

This post actually says a great deal more about your own mindset than anything else. For rather than looking for the good in the post, what you chose to do instead was to look for an excuse to criticize the intention behind it instead. Which speaks volumes about where your own head space is at. Believe it or not.

I wasn't trying to sell you or anyone else anything at all. What I was doing was merely posting up a video full of timeless nuggets of advice. If you had really listened to the video and applied the points there-in, to your own life - you wouldn't be making this rather silly point.

It's called good humor my friend, you know gentle ribbing, which humor should be taken with a pinch of salt. No matter what one posts there will always be someone, somewhere, who will still seek ways to point the finger and focus on the perceived negative rather than the positive intention behind the reason for posting something up. Such is human nature.

        Ever heard this expression?...

"You can't please everyone all of the time only some people some of the time."

Sales copy wise, conversion rate? Sorry, you lost me there completely. It's not / wasn't a sales letter. It's free information. If you want it, take it, appreciate it for what it is or ignore it.

        The choice is yours.

I despair of one or two of you, truthfully I really do at times.

Grab a sense of humor Marty.

        Keep smiling!

I really enjoyed this video. In fact, I listened to it twice, and I may even listen to it a third time.

I really like what Ray says about copywriting... "It's salesmanship in print.. Persuasion as an art ..." Great analogies!

What I got out of it - if you really want it, you have to believe in yourself that "I can do this!"

And if I could afford the flight and time away, etc., I would absolutely attend a JV Alert at least ONCE. Just to be able to meet in person the people who are listed on the jvalert website would be awesome.

Thanks again, Mark, for posting this!

My criticism would have been that you should have been speaking to a single person and how do you know I like cat videos anyway

Seriously, it is a very educational video in many respects, the first half especially. But even when you get into the sales pitch for the seminar, it is still educational.

Thanks for posting, I enjoyed watching it. Now, back to my cat videos.

My friend you have no clue about who I am, nor my sense of humor, which has been a large part (btw) of my success on Youtube. Your OP did not come across humorous to me as much as it did pompous. However I take your word for it that maybe you just wanted some more attention to your thread, and it is not your character after all. GL.

And yes, I also wanted to SERIOUSLY KNOW about insulting an audience in terms of copywriting as well. I thought it might have been 50/50 you were actually doing it as a tactic.

By the way the video was unfortunately a little (okay, more than a litte) slow moving for me, and certainly the early part I found nothing new... so I had to cut out. He should probably make these podcasts, (it's not really a video anyway) as I could see myself giving it another try if it were.

Personally I was not insulted. The perceived tone was unnecessary imho.

          ...works both ways.

Yet you presumed to think I posted this up as an excuse to insult others.

Very strange thinking there on your part. Alien thinking to me.

          Enough said.

Find a Youtube video you like and wish to post up.

The URL address? Highlight it then Ctrl C to copy the URL...

...and Ctrl V to pop it into your thread or post.

      Easy peasy.

      Happy to help.
