Who else does one a day?

Is there one thing you do every day, that's almost inviolable, to keep you "ahead of the game", or simply to keep on learning and improving in your Internet marketing journey?

My "one thing" is reading a book a day, or at the minimum, a book every weekday. I get through books this fast because of speed reading. An app on the iPad called "Quickreader" is what I use. I'll go through the book really fast initially without utilizing the app and just get a feel for it's "skeleton" and big points. Then I'll speed through it with the app. Taking what I've learnt I'd then summarize it.

It usually takes an hour to do this, and has been one of the biggest factors of enabling me to take action and get things done as I can process the information really fast and get on with it. It's excellent for revision of past books as well.

That's my "one a day", what's yours? I have a few others, but in order of most important, in terms of what's helped me the most, it's this.

Same as you, but I prefer reading articles and case studies.

I usually skim and only read the important points. Occasionally, I like to read word by word.

I just go and find people who are doing very well in my field. Take ideas from what they are doing and how they are doing it. Make notes and implement them and get results. Its simple.

Well don't forget that most people who reach high levels of success systemize some aspect of what they do one way or another, so I'd definitely recommend a more critical approach.

I've never got into coffee and never been able to grasp why so many people love it, but I will!

You have to try a French Vanilla Cappuccino. Yum! Then you definitely will.

    Test Test and Test!

Always testing to make sure I am improving on conversion when it comes to sales, # of visitors or leads for my list.

Always challenging myself in other words. Everyday.

That is followed by logging on to the Warrior Forum and having a look around to see what's up and the thoughts of other warriors on certain topics as I enjoy my java.

After that, it is a myriad of other things that can vary day by day, but the two first mentioned are my "almost inviolable" things. They actually go hand in hand.

I have just rearranged my books that are saved on my desktop so I can do the same. I have so many that I forget what is there so I am going through them one by one and saving the best ones in a separate file for further review.

I write one article (nearly) every day, and make sure that I try to add two or three publishers (of websites, ezines, newsletters, magazines, or whatever) to my article syndication-lists.

I'm an article marketer, so I have to do that, to keep my business growing.

I'm exaggerating a fraction, actually. I write about 24 articles per month, and that keeps 8 different, unrelated niches going with all their content needs. 3 articles per month per niche is plenty for me, but I do need to keep doing them, and especially to make sure they're published in front of increasing numbers of highly targeted readers.

    No but I should:

    1) Do something to build my list
    2) Email my list
    3) Create something (eg. a product)

And the missing number 4 is (perhaps) network.

Yes you should! Make it almost a sacred law to do one proactive task a day that'll contribute to your bottom line. Just one.

      hit this on the head.

oh and with 4, yes network with people with TRUCK LOADS of people on their list. That is where you business will skyrocket beyond your comprehension.

GO out and get them drunk, then ask them to do a mailing for you. A sneaky tactic to get them to say yes. LOL. he he.

Leverage is the key to making big money. If I started all over again it would be to team up with someone with a bigger list and offer them an offer they couldnt refuse. I still do this today.

    Write something.

    Read something.

    Exercise.

I keep the daily "must do" list somewhat vague, but it works for me.

    All the best,
