The Secret to Squeeze Page Design

Everyday, somebody asks for a review of their squeeze page. That is usually followed by a number of posts from the peanut gallery, all saying how great it looks, how good the video is, etc.

Attaboys and pats on the back are great if you are just looking for comfort feedback, but what really matters is that your squeeze page converts.

My suggestion is to make several different versions of the page, ranging from very basic to the elaborate design you may already have. Do some split testing on your incoming traffic and go with the design that converts the best... even if it is not your favorite look and feel.

Split testing is the secret sauce to building a huge list with squeeze pages.

You are right. Most of such threads are made to have a primary marketing for the pages.

You are most likely right, so this thread is for the minority of folks that actually are asking for legitimate review

Great post, I totally agree with you.

Nothing matters unless it actually converts.

It's amazing how many times the optin pages I think will win, lose and the ones I think will lose win...

When it comes to testing, I test radically different pages because I typically get radically different results. Plus, every traffic source reacts differently.
