how do i setup an autoresponder?

Hi,

I am trying to set up an autoresponder with imnica but am not sure I know how all this autoresponder thing works.
Could you please tell me if this is correct.

1) You create a folder/subdomain, i'm not sure which one under new files in your host admin panel?

2) you create an account with imnica, and they then give you an imnica URL i assume?

3) When people sign in to my sign in box on my site, i direct them to the imnica email that they presumably provide me?

4) I type my folder/subdomain from number 1 in the imnica redirect URL box?

So if I understand this correctly, people will sign in on my site and get directed to imnica that then send them back to the folder/subdomain I created in my Hostgator control panel.

I,m sorry but I just can't find this information anywhere online which probably means not many people have this problem.

If you're using Aweber, they have a tutorial on the inside that guides you through the process. That's how I learned the first time I did it, and it worked.

    Good luck,

The Imnica support team will give you the best answers.

I think you may be over complicating things, as generally all you need to do is past in the code into the part of your website where you want the form to appear.

Should be quite easy from your cpanel...There are a number of placeholder variables you can use to make the email quite user-friendly

Your subfolder is for your web static html page?

Get your op=tin code from on imnica and put in your squeeze page or optin form.

If using static page, you can use kompozer free software to insert the optin form code.

If only for the URL things, you can create a new folder under your website root folder.

Your hosting account's website folder name should be public_html, and you should create a new folder under it, and store your squeeze page and other files.

When you sign up a autoresponder account, you can create a list, and then you will get the subscribe form HTML codes, and you should put these codes in your squeeze page.

When a subscriber type in his/her name & e-mail and submit, the info will be sent to imnica, and which will handle the subscription request, then it can redirect back to your own URL (the new folder you created), or it can use its own pages too, and you don't need add other pages other than squeeze page.

    Hope this can help.
