Auto blog using Wp-o-matic

I am trying to auto blog using Wp-o-matic, it seems to work OK, but the posts are very long and boring paragraph with no images.
I would like to have posts with title, short paragraph, a picture and "read more" feature.
Does it depend on the wp theme I am using (prosense), or on Wp-o-matic or what?
Help
Thank you

You can't be too choosy when it comes to automatic blogging. If you are so concerned about it, you can always add more quality posts yourself.

I've seen many auto blogs designed as I described above!

Caffeinated Content would give you more control like you are looking for. WPOM retrieves feeds, but not sure if it retrieve images within them.

Note, however, that auto-blogging does not produce much in the way of glamorous content.

UAW will send automatic content to your blog and sometimes they include images and video. However, not all the articles you get will make sense.

Ive tired Caffeinated content plugin and it only does articles. Youtube and Yahoo Answers do not work and their support sucks.

I did use WP-O-Matic to get automated posts with images. Make sure you get rich RSS feeds. When you click on an RSS feed, it comes up differently, some come up with images and that works fine. However there are only few of them.

You can also try Yahoo Pipes to mash up video, text, and images.

Bit of a learning curve tho...

Wp-o-matic can retrieve images and the like from its results...it'll even bring in YouTube videos. Just depends on the feeds you are trying to get.
If the feed search results you have specified contains images and videos, then your automated posts should have this as well. I guess results may vary, but I know for a fact thats how it is w/ Google News RSS feeds.

You can also add the images through your theme by floating an image pulled from flickr or the like in the content div.

Did you ever notice that “author” is the root of the word “authority“?
