Ezinearticles to stop the flood of articles!

Apparently ezine articles will make it much harder for articles to be approved due to the flood of submissions that they are getting. The word got out about the article marketing craze so ezinearticles has stepped up the quality control for articles to be approved, now it must be very, very, very well written.

They have even added a reject of an article which says the article did not meet what was promised to the reader!!(maybe this is not new but I have never seen this before from them)

Once every one starts doing something(like article marketing) it will be harder to profit unless you are really good. A friend of mine recent made about $1000 in about 2 month from having youtube and other video sites point to his site, he says he will never write articles because he loves video and is not a writer.

This may be a good lesson if you are good at video do video..... if you are a writer do articles..... if you have a great voice do Blog
radio...everyone should not be writing articles just because it is trendy

My friend paid a hot girl friend $50 bucks to talk about his site on video for 7 minutes of her time and he made a $1000. KEY POINT the video was great and original and relevant to the product. With so many people on the net looking to cash in you must be GOOD now so concentrate on what your real skill is do not just write to ezine because everyone is doing it.

Do not try to throw a video up now after reading this..to copy my friend... you have to know where your strengh is.

Donald Trump recently said he sucks at computers and would never do anything like I.M. , he says he does not even like computers..

He said he only builds because that is his strong point. Good lesson find your skill and do IM from your best skill.

I am a newbie ...but I work in media and someone was talking about article marketing explosion. Apparently ezinearticle submissions have increased 150% in the last year or so and they had to hire new proof readers. Some people are trying to post 30 articles per week on this forum! Sometimes I feel ezineareticles and squidoo search their site names on the warrior forum to see what we are doing.

If marketers write quality articles, they won't have to worry about this

Writing trash won't help your business, even if it passed Ezine Articles. The point is, if you are going to market your business through articles, it should be good content that is well written to begin with. So, in my opinion, this won't change a thing!

I may be wrong but it was someone who said that due to the big jump in article marketing submissions ezinearticles was going to get more selective and harder to approve. Again i may be wrong..it was a comment i heard...

Kind of. The official line is that there is absolutely no assurance that your articles are more likely to get accepted; just that they'll be reviewed sooner. The editorial guidelines are identical for free and premium members.

Who reviews the submitted articles? Usa people? or is it outsourced cheaper to third world country clients?

Yeah right, but I almost wish they would. There is some real drekk on there. Just keep providing quality content and you should be fine.

since they make money from our provided content i would think that they are picky, but not so picky that it winds up costing them money. I have just under 600 articles live and submit 3-5 per day and rarely have a problem.

In short i have noticed no difference in approval process in the last two years.

I've been rejected for an article that was submitted and approved already and all I did was change the resource box. All they said was that their standards were changed and to look it up in their guidelines after I asked what changed specifically. All I did was update some links. What they should actually be doing is to go through their articles and find all the ones that have resource boxes with broken links.

The problem they have is all the 'similar' stuff being submitted thanks to the new generation of text wranglers out there. Impossible to catch automatically, which means far more human editorial input. Good luck with it, ezines. There's a wall of content coming your way - how many editors can you afford to hire???

Without quality content EZA would soon dissapear.

Yes there are some garbage articles on there, but how much traffic are they generating for the authors?

Keep your own articles to a high standard and enjoy the traffic!

if you look at some of the top authors they are submitting tons of rewritten versions of the same article. I think that its not so much the rewritten articles rather the stuff that is obviously not making sense or offering anything other then random information.

I recently had one article i wrote from scratch get rejected automatically after hitting submit, it said it closely matched another article already in their database??? This was even after it was copyscaped with zero matches!

I changed a few words around and it took it and was accepted the next day. I for one am glad they are strict, if they disappear many peoples traffic and businesses will disappear with them.

That's good that they are getting stricter -- they also need to flush out the crappy articles they let in before the new rules too. Atleast EZA is still free except for the time you devote to writing and submitting, so no complaints here!
