Want to build a list, from where to get a eBook to send my subs?

Hi, I want to start building a list...

But, I understood that I need to offer a bribe(free eBook) to the visitors in my landing page, from where I get it?

But, what is the point that I give them free eBook and then try to sell them something?

I don't understand it, after that they get the eBook, I should say them- "Leave the eBook, and buy this product - xxxxxx" ?

    Just create a squeeze page, make it look nice.

    Then ask yourself "would I put my own email address and opt-in if I came to this page?"..

    Provide some value for your audience to opt in - It could be an eBook or a nice video will do.

    Make sure the headline and text on the landing page is attractive.

    Once they opt-in, you can redirect them to your offer or whatever you want to do.

    There are a number of sites where you can buy plr that you can give away.
    Make sure you have rights to GIVE if you go that route.

    Myself, I write original material as I enjoy the writing and I like to create personal material written from real experience.

    An OTO, if you have one, shouldn't be a contradiction to your eBook, but more so something that extends it, makes it easier, faster, or is complimentary to it.

    what ever the free offer is which you use to build your list should really be unique to you so try to avoid buying plr stuff

    create something which you have good skills around

    in order to create a paid product as well what you can do is create a quality free report and then offer videos as the paid product

    or you could create a video course of say 10 videos and give away the first 3 - 5 and then sell the remaining videos as your OTO

    I agree with using your own unique product for your give away. However it depends on what your goals are. Just building the list is the easy part. I have built lists with PLR and done fine. But the key is how you manage, build relationships, with that list. My first 500 list subscribers resulted in no sales because I tried too hard to sell to them. Spend some time reading and learning how to build relationships with your list before you spend too much time and or money trying to build it.
