Facebook fan page? For my website?

INTERNET MARKETING

There is no category when making a fan page on facebook for a small website that sells stuff, even in the website category.

If you choose shopping/retail as your business fan page category it is more for an actually shop than something online, so i was wondering would a "community" fan page be the best option?

I doubt anyone knows but thanks if you have any ideas.

I think a business fan page would suit a website that sells things... A community page is more of a free information or contribution kind of a thing. Look under business / service / product, and you may find a suitable category

Yes you should have a business fanpage, if you site sells stuff, then your business is retail services.

  Thanks for replies, i understand you can implement a shopping cart into your facebook fan page, do you have to register as a business with facebook or simple create the fan page as an individual?
  
  Yeah i think the category most suitable might be:
  Local Businesses - Shopping/Retail even though it's all online and not really local to anyone.. guess i can change this later on anyway.
