How to Get Free Visitors without SEO, without YouTube?

16 replies
Hi,

I was wondering if you have any ideas about getting tons of free visitors without SEO/Google, without YouTube? (Because about these everyone knows...)

SM to attract visitors?
News aggregator sites?

There used to be toplist sites that brought me paying customers, back in the "good old days"... but not today.

Any systems out there that feed us visitors without much SEO/YouTube struggle?

I'm looking for alternative - but realistic ways to attract visitors.

    Find related forums and contribute to the forum on regular basis, it would help.

    I'm rather looking for streaming traffic sources, like news feeder sites, some lists, "resource nests"...

    Most of us pretty much know how the forum links and signatures work.

    Blogs, forums, viral ads (stories), word of mouth.

    You could comment on the top blogs or write guest posts. You can swap/trade banner space on associated blogs and forums or run a paid advertising campaign using free adwords/ adcenter vouchers or create a great PDF giveaway with your links and ask people to comment on your blog or visit your site.

    I am doing all of the above, only that Facebook ads didn't bring ROI... somehow even smaller PPC engines brought better income.

    If there is anything more, newer, then I'm all eyes and ears!

    Facebook and forums. Try google alerts, comment on every thread/forum possible consistently everyday. That's how I got my free traffic really worth a try,

    I would say, forums and social bookmarking sites are the best option here.

    yeah, social media, blogs and forums. But I do think you're making it hard on yourself. I would still consider doing seo and youtube vids as well. It speeds up the whole process!

    Here are 10 ways to get traffic to your website. Some of them are self-explanatory, other ones are explained in brackets.

    1. Set up YouTube account and upload videos and put a link under the video and call to action with the link to your site in the end of each video;
    2. Guest post on blogs;
    3. Post meaningful comments in blogs (put a link your Name);
    4. Put a bumper sticker on your window, car, etc
    5. Twitter (retweet your blog posts, get more followers);
    6. StumbleUpon (works if you have very good content);
    7. Post on related forums (with the link in your signature);
    8. Build an email list;
    9. Google AdWords (you can get free vouchers or coupons, just google them)
    10. Magic

    Social Media is something that is often underestimated.
    You can drive a lot of traffic to your site with facebook,
    twitter, or other sides like that. Just be an authority, build
    a subscriber base and post links to your desired page.
    Another nice way to drive traffic are lists. Build a list
    by giving away something for free and you have traffic
    on demand.

    Social Media - Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon.. Possible to drive great load of traffic to your website if your content goes viral BUT be prepared for high bounce rate.

    Guest Posting - Great way to drive targeted traffic BUT don't expect to see much traffic if you're guesting posting on new blogs

    Paid Traffic - PPC, great way to drive targeted traffic too (or maybe not).. BUT can be very expensive if you don't know what you're doing.

    Facebook my friend. Around 3 to 4 hours ago, I used the 'Search' feature of this forum on how to drive traffic to our website by using Facebook. OMG, I got tons of working tips from fellow Warriors. I would suggest you to use the "Search" feature of this forum, too. You'll be amazed by what you'll see next.

    I'm not relying on facebook that much anymore. Ever since they introduced promoted posts feature I have noticed a big drop in facebook traffic. What works for me though is twitter.
