Building traffic takes time, you could plan a social media strategy or a long term blog commenting campaign. etc Don't rely on SEO
Create great content that is engaging and informative and put it in highly trrafficed places that are relevant to your niche such as facebook groups, Google hangouts, YouTube videos

you can also do two things:
1. buy trafic
2. use adwords, facebook payed ad for getting trafic in the begining just to start the wheel

Plain and simple...Go where your target audience is! If you have some demos-- then send them or upload them to various game/download sites. pay per click can also be an option, I do not know the costs per click, but this method can drive some decent amount of traffic to your site.

You can also visit, some high ranking niche blogs--that relate to your site and provide some valuable comments, to drive traffic to your site.

Traffic is a massive topic of discussion and could go on forever.

But it is important you look at finding ways of funneling targeted traffic back to your offers etc.

Do you have any money to spend on advertising?

If so you could use PPC as a way of finding targeted traffic.

If not, then using social media sites can bring in great amounts of traffic once you know how to use them in the correct manner.

FREE traffic does take time and you really have to be patient and willing to spend some time on it to get some serious momentum going with it.

Find forums within your niche and become a well respected member of the community by consistently providing quality information and generally being helpful to others.

Videos uploaded to YouTube also could work well for you.

Use the knowledge you have to your advantage and create high quality videos that entice people to click on the links below that point back to your website etc.

I'm all about social media. You tube videos, Facebook, social bookmarking, forums, ect. With your site I think Pinterest could be a gold mine if done right. There are a number of resources here for you to look at when it comes to using Pinterest for your marketing. Just search this forum. Good luck finding and driving the targeted traffic your looking for!

- Social Bookmarking, Social Networking, Micro Blogging (twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn..etc..), Article Submissions, Press Release, Forums, Blog Commenting, Business Listing, Classifieds Submissions, Uses of Questions and Answers, Blog Posting, Online Content Upload..

I suggest these for a new business.
- Press Release : by a professional writer
- Social Media: Posts above have elaborated on the topic
- Google Adwords : It works if implemented with care with thorough keyword research.

It takes time for a new website to garner traffic.So, plan well and go ahead.

I would never rely on the search engines to get me free traffic.

There are so many ways that you can send targeted traffic to your site.

Here is a small list:

Pay per click ads.
Write articles.
Make videos and post them on YouTube.
Join forums in your niche and add your website in your signature.
Find blogs in your niche and see if they allow guest commenting.

These are just a few that came to my mind.

You can increase the traffic using
* Post your links on social networking websites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.. etc.
* Post your links on link building websites using link building techniques like
-Social Bookmarking
-Forum Posting
-Blog commenting and posting
- Press Release
