Does creating a nice little text banner and direct linking it to a CB product still work ?

Hi guys,

Was wondering if direct linking to CB products works ?

I`m am 100% focused on getting away from google traffic and was just wondering if any of you guys actually create nice banners and pay for the banner to be shown on someone elses site and direct link it to a clickbank product, does this work ?

I actually had a fitness site that did ok but Panda saw that off but i remember that i had a little text banner i made myself direct linking to `Truth About Abs` sales page and i got a few sales too

Do any of you guys actually do this i guess i`m talking about media buys

So the progress is
find a CB product
Create a banner
Direct link it to the CB product
Get the banner on a relevent site
Track the clicks and conversions

Does this work ?

If you have the right traffic I'm sure it is still viable to work - I do a heap of media buying, some is profitable; some isn't.

So, I can say - using a banner from a website straight to a sales page can work. I don't personally like doing it much, I rather go site > banner > lander (either straight up lander or a squeeze page) > sales page.

With certain niches, I will direct link - although, with most I try to build a list.

Even if it did, why would you want to? You're bypassing the opportunity to collect a lead and build a list.

Yea. I agree with Seth. I wouldn't miss the opportunity to collect a lead myself.
