Expertise needed I have 500+ emails

Hi Warriors,

So as the title explains, I have 500+ emails and names of a very targeted group, but they were not obtained through a landing page and autoresponder. My question is, how should I go about marketing to this group? do I get an autoresponder and sub in their email and names myself or is there a better option to be able to do affiliate marketing to them? If I sub them into an autoresponder do they have to confirm that they have been subscribed, because I was hoping they didn't. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Look forward to your replies as I am trying to start my IM business like all of you.

Thanks,

Topnotch85

Since they are targeted as you have said, It makes your job easy.I think they will have to confirm their subscriptions themselves if you manually put their names and e-mail addresses .But there is an easier way to it as this moves your business forward too.
The first thing you will do is to sign up for an autoresponder service,
Secondly, create a squeeze page with a free offer for them to pick up
Thirdly, send mails to them asking them to pick up your free offer.

They respond by signing up themselves.

This is when you can now say you have a subscriber base.

After which you can start selling to them whatever, either your products or affiliate products.

To import them to a new auto responder service you will need them to opt in manually.

What is your niche? I might have an offer for you if interested

how did you obtain these "leads"? if you don't have their permission to email them, you are very likely going to get yourself into a bit of hot water with a few folks if you start emailing them.

Yep, the first thin you do is send a mail out to re-confirm their subscription. That will help out tremendously.

Thanks to everyone that has replied. I am going to think about what path to go down.
@David- I will be probably getting an autoresponder so they will have to confirm if they want to receive what I am offering. Thanks for the input.

Most autoresponders will not let you import these emails without double opt-in verification. However, if you pm me I can arrange an account with our company without double optin, so you can import without confirmation and mail them straight away.

I added an email to getresponse and the owner didn't need to confirm anything from what I remember. I had to email someone who's email bounced back all the time, so I did it through getresponse and it worked.
