Does anyone happen to have any typography tips? I'm developing a WordPress theme and it's the one thing I can't seem to master!

Thanks in advance!

I'm already using Google fonts, I just can't seem to find the right font. The problem is, I'm not really sure what I'm even looking for. I'm trying to find a font for the site title, any suggestions?
    Thanks again.

The type of font you use should be coordinated with the type of message or content you have. Just as a too obvious example, you don't want a "comic" font for a headline on a professional or formal message.

A good graphic designer should be able to help you.

As a minimum, you can always visit web sites that you like, find a headline style that you would like to use, then go to a font recognition site like
      What Font is
and see what font it is.

Thanks for the info, the problem I'm facing is not knowing what type of content my users will be displaying. In the Theme options it is possible for the user to choose any one of the 500+ Google fonts, but I really need an ideal font as default.

Here's a screenshot of my theme, to give you an idea of what I'm trying to achieve:

As you can see, the typography is somewhat lacking!

Good fonts for Web are Verdana, Garamound or Century Gothic Light.

To spice up your typography use a mix of bold, emphasis and underline as well. Maybe change color or the way your headlines are showing up.

Typography isn't easy but try little things like I listed to give you an idea.
