Clickbank are P!ssing me off!

Just a rant...

Ive been trying to submit a product to clickbank for weeks now but they keep rejecting saying;

'The promotion of your product is currently out of compliance'

But they wont tell me why.

Instead they keep giving me the same links to read over and over and over again.

I can't see where or why my sales page fall out of compliance but these guys are just being unhelpful.

They don't even bother to reply to my emails.

I appreciate that there are FTC guidlines that we all have to abide by but this is taking the piss.

Rant over

So in other words, email marketing?
They lump email marketing into the spamming category.

If that isn't it, eBay is a Registered Trademark another category that is not allowed.

Imagine that you have a product which violates their terms in two ways. Their support team only sees one of them, so they tell you to fix it. And you do. Then they see the other one and say your product is still noncompliant.

It is conceivable (this is not legal advice, consult an attorney, yadda yadda) that you can now successfully argue in a court of law that this constituted a legal contract wherein if you fix this your product will be compliant, so they owe you damages in the amount of your projected launch figures and should also reimburse you for the time and expense of putting your product on Clickbank in the first place.

So they cannot help you. It is a liability risk. Their lawyers won't let them.

That's a lot of arsing around.

If its not compliant, and they won't tell me why, then how the hell can I fix it?

For all I know, I could be messing around with things that don't need messing around with and then when I re-submit the same violation is still there.

      It's just moronic

They keep sending you the compliance guidelines.

            Ben,

I see your frustration and annoyance, but Caliban (above) is right.

Suggestion: call them. For two reasons: first, they're usually much better at customer service by phone than they are by email; secondly, you might manage to speak to someone who (since it's not in writing) may be willing to drop a heavy hint about what the problem is, here. But remember that you're asking them to do you the favor, not the other way round.

            It's worth trying.

If you want to PM my your salespage and the link they send you, I can take a look at it to see if I see anything. This is surprising as they have always been specific when telling me what I am missing.

Yeah, call them and ask for the representative that removed your product from their marketplace.. explain your situation in person and you might just be able to get your product back on CB.

Well instead of beating yourself up why don't you try a different platform? Say JVzoo?

"If opportunity doesn't knock; build a door"

Perhaps, you should try and edit one last time.. submit to clickbank for review again.. if it's still the same reply then probably it's time for you to build a door. JVzoo is a great place to sell your info product and im sure you'll get some awesome affiliates to promote your product too.

When did Clickbank become the only place to publish an ebook on the web again?

Of course, I wouldn't expect much from those sites either. These silly people with their quality standards.
