Google maps error-do not currently support location

Hi All,

I own a bail bonds shop in Las Vegas. My maps listing in Google has been screwed up for 2+ years now and my ranking in SERPs has been dropping like a rock. I'm inches away from closing the doors.

First, Google merged my Maps listing with another business, I'd contact Google, they'd fix it, and 2 weeks later, it's messed up again. 5 months ago I got an e-mail from Google that their "trusted reviewer Rakesh" said my location doesn't exist and they dropped me altogether.

When I click on "See how your listing appears" a window pops up that "they do not currently support the location". This isn't only for me, I've searched the Web and a lot of people have had this happen, no solution seems to exist. Contacted Google, they said they're working on it, would update me (which they haven't).

I'm sending out all the receivers on this one, since you all are the pros has anyone got any ideas? All help appreciated.

Thanks,
Greg Smith

I had 2 listings on google maps, one of which is still there fine, one isn't! I listed another business and same thing - does not appear on the map! No logical reason for it, can see nothing different between any of the 3 businesses in the way I have listed them, although the one that is showing up is a long established well known business, so I am wondering if getting google reviews, +'s, directory listings etc helps to bump it up? I know the more often that the EXACT address appears on google the higher they put it up the maps rankings? I've also heard Google is mid merge with Google local & places, so maybe it is them, not us?
Sorry this is no help, but if I find out how to fix it I will post back!! Adwords is looking like your best best, but don't use the Adwords express that comes with Google places, I just tried it and you can't seem to choose your keywords at all which is useless (but a great money maker for Google I should think!!)
    Good luck! Shell
