Offer a Money Back Guarantee?

Howdy WF,

I'm about to launch my first product which I'm super duper excited about! However, I am wondering what you all think about a Money Back Guarantee.

My product is in the fitness niche and it's essentially an entire workout program. I'll be selling the product + membership to my site where videos and questions/etc will be answered. All of this greatness is being sold for a one time price of $37.

I personally do not want to offer a Money Back Guarantee because I feel like people will take advantage of it. They'll buy the product, then ask for their money back, and although they won't have access to the site anymore, they will still have the guide.

Then again, I also want people to feel comfortable purchasing the product, knowing that if they don't like what they get, they can get their money back.

I'm fairly confident in this program and I have two free bonuses that go along with it...so I feel like it's a good deal.

What do you all think about the Money Back Guarantee?

Congrats on creating your first product! Very exciting!

As for money back guarantees.... Let me answer your question with a question -

How likely are YOU to buy something if you know you can't get your money back if you're not satisfied with the product?

In most cases, a money back guarantee is just part of business.

Yes, there will be some that take advantage of it, but again, just part of business.

30 day money back guarantee has become a norm. I thought, maybe to reduce chargebacks, you could offer something of value to be delivered on day number 31?

@PotPie Queen - I appreciate your input. It's kind of what I was thinking, just the cost of doing business!

      @sunray - That's actually a great idea! Thanks!

A money back guarantee is a must.

While someone is looking at your sales page and if you don't have one , people will be wondering why.

And having a money back guarantee will Increase sales.

If you offer quality and value your returns policy we rarely be exercised.

If you don't offer a guarantee then you will likely suffer in sales and the difference between lost sales and refunds is really the question here.

Just offer a refund. Anything of quality has a refund policy these days.

As a a buyer I like to know that it is risk free, although I have never asked my money back even if I wasn't 100% happy with the product.

Today's market is highly competitive. If you watch then you would see that maximum good and better online products have money back guarantee. But i do really appreciate your bonus concept. This product could be successful if the output is great to your customer or potential customers. Hope so you got my point. Best of luck for you and your product.

Guarantees are a great way to shift the risk to you, instead of your customer. I suggest offering one... and the longer the better.
