Hi guys!

I'm thinking of starting a blog with blogspot.com. I'm a newbie in IM. While I'm at it, I'm curious to know about domain names.

We can buy domain names for our very own websites right? Like our own blogs?

Do you know of any website host that host more than one blog or website for us? and we only pay them one time?

what i'm planning to do for my site is that whenever they click to another topic or niche, they'll be redirected to another blog of mine with ads related to that topic.

is that even possible?

sorry for too many questions, to be honest i've never stepped my foot on internet marketing.

but im about to , i hope.

tnx in advance

Yes, you can buy domain names for your own websites.

Yes, one hosting account can host more than one blog or website, and you only need to pay one hosting account.

You mean you will build one of your sites as a hub to other sites of yours? It can work.

If you're intending to do any kind of internet marketing with/from it, that's probably a pretty bad place to start, Jensha.

    These threads explain why ...
    Blogger and deleted blogs?
    Blogger blog removed
    Squidoo/Blogger as primary website
Wow Blogger Deemed All My Hard Work Spam
    Is blogger blogs worthy?
    have blogspot energy?
is Wordpress really a better choice than Blogger in my case?

Yes; almost all "hosting packages" include the facility to host multiple sites.

Unless you buy something "ultra-cut-price" like Hostica's $1-per-month package which is expressly limited to one site only. Normally something like $5 - $10 per month allows you to host as many websites as you need.

    Yes, easily.

There are different ways of doing that.

You can do that in the form of separate blogs all hosted under one domain-name with a separate subdomain for each, or in the form of separate blogs each hosted under its own domain name. Each method has some advantages and some disadvantages.

Before you start buying any domains and/or hosting for websites, the one key thing you need to know is that it's very important to register domain-names and to host them in two separate places. Don't make the mistake (as some do) of registering a domain-name where you're also going to host the site attached to it. For example, I register domain-names at "Namecheap" and host them at "Hostgator" or at "TypePad". The precise details of where you do each don't usually matter too much, as long as you keep them separate.

Wait! I think know you! You're the warroom member everyone is talking about when it comes to clickbank. I know you're very busy answering newbie questions so, any useful threads about being an affiliat with clickbank you can share with me please? I'm really interested in it as well when I saw that some of the products available for promotion there are related to what I want to write about.

This is always encouraging! If there's something you already want to write about and there are ClickBank products relevant to the subject, you may have the basis of a promising start, there (as long as the products and their sales pages are ok).
