how do I announce a huge project without getting banned??

So earlier today I tried to announce a project that I've been working on for a very long time. but the thread was quickly deleted. I looked at the rules, but I don't actually know what I did wrong? The post related directly to IM and had everything to do with making money and building your business. Not mad that it got deleted, but since I don't know why I might make the same mistake again. Any advice you guys could give is appreciated.

Is there a special place where I should post this type of stuff?

I deleted that one. It was a straight up ad in a discussion section.

If you want to get a better idea of where things go and how things work here, grab the "Handy Guide to the Warrior Forum" that's linked in my signature. It's not only free, you don't have to leave the site to get it.

And, for those who might think that's an "okay" approach... No. "See my sig" notes aren't usually allowed. That guide was prepared by a moderator for the members, and is not a sales process element of any kind.

You don't have to, but it's not as useful with just the PDF.

I did it using a free mindmapping tool that's open source, so people would be able to use it without extra cost or fear of malware. I suppose I could do it as a straight PDF, but it wouldn't be as useful that way.

Yeah I like this one, I use a program called Thebrain to do my mind maps. But that one can be a pain to use.
