Who here uses the Hello Bar?

I just came across this site a while back: hellobar.com (non-aff link)

I was wondering who here has used it. It's basically a web toolbar that you can install on your site. Pretty nice way to grab attention.

Have you seen conversions (free signups, I'd guess) go up using it? Would you recommend it, and why?

    Google toolbar is enough for me.. and some seo toolbars.. Too many toolbard will only cause some problems.

    I have something like the hello bar, but I custom made mine for my site.

    Google toolbar is enough for me.. and some seo toolbars..
    I would drop google toolbar... too much information your giving away.

    I personally hate toolbars unless I require them for a specific purpose.

      Just to be sure, but aren't you confusing Google toolbar with a web toolbar? As far as I know, Google toolbar is a browser extension, while the Hello Bar is something you install on your website for your visitors to see.

    A couple of days ago I read a thread talking about monetizing a blog. The owner was doing pretty well, and he was using Hello Bar as an attention grabber.
    From what I understand it helped with the conversions, and from what I can figure out it works pretty well if he keeps using it.

    I can't say from my own experience, but I'll definitely give it a try on one of my blogs.
