      +1

Camtasia does a pretty good job for me too.

Features I find super helpful are the:

      - Noise Cancellation
      - Click Effects
      - Screen Adjustments

      File size is also compact.

It's quite time consuming since you still need to upload the image to your own server/hosting. You don't have that much control compared to Jing.

Techsmith products are really awesome. They created Jing and Camtasia.

Jing is the perfect way to enhance your fast-paced online conversations. Create images and videos of what you see on your computer screen, then share them instantly!

Camtasia gives you the tools you need to truly customize and edit your videos. Record on-screen activity, add imported media, create interactive content, and share high-quality, HD videos that your viewers can watch anytime, on nearly any device.

If you are using a Mac I have been using Screenflow for my screencasting series and I am pretty happy with it. It's a bit more expensive that other software but well worth it.

What Operating System are you using?

I agree, Jing is such a great tool. In just few moments, you can upload your screen cast image in their own server.
