Hi there,
I am currently looking into getting involved in some niche specific email marketing. I was wondering....

-Whats the best way to get targeted traffic to your squeeze page? (Paid/Free)
- I'm Looking for cheap, but decent quality traffic. (Recommendations?)
- In your opinion what do you think is a good price to spend on someones personal email?

Thanks for your time warriors. I appreciate your help.

the best paid traffic sources which i have found to build my list are:

    PPC
    Solo ads

Driving a lot of traffic to a squeeze page to build your list is the easy part, the harder part is
setting up your sales funnel so that you can convert your prospects into paying customers

    Hello OP,

Completely depends on the niche, but in general, yes, PPC and solo ads work well. In the internet marketing niche, there are tons of solo ad sellers and prices in general can range from .30 - .75 per email sent.

For non 'make money online' or IM niches, there are a lot of large companies (lead companies) that will mail for you to targeted niches. This usually requires a bit more $ to do and Paul mentioned, you probably want to have your sales funnel dialed in or you'll lose your shirt.

Jamison Palmer is definitely a knowledgeable person when it comes to non IM email marketing. Look him up here on the WF...

Well, some of the best ways I can think of are article and video marketing. Along with sending a weekly newsletter with a opt- in box on it to your current list if you have one already.

If your newsletter is good then they'll forward the email to friends and the friends will want a weekly newsletter as well and guess what they'll have to do to get one?....... Sign up to your list!

    Best of luck

Solo Ads & PPC, work great for IM related niches. For Niches outside IM: PPC (could be cheaper), video marketing, press releases...Buying Media Ads (banners). There a lot of ways to drive traffic, to your optin and build your list.

Focus on creating quality content and approaching reputable blogs in your industry. Your content should entice just enough curiosity without explicitly selling anything. Include a link to your landing page in your author's bio. To gain confidence with this strategy invest in copywriting skills.

If you know the niche well then you should have the demographics of your target market.

Use this to buy banner advertising and make your demographic want your free offer that you're using on the squeezepage. Targeted traffic like this should convert brilliantly.

Also if your niche has a high traffic forum such as the warrior forum and it sells advertising space you should be taking them up on the offer.

I guess most people drive traffic to squeeze-page using paid method (at least for me, i do paid for SP or LP) because squeeze page is usually a short term plan marketing, and you hardly get rank in search engine with squeeze page.

Most common ways to drive traffic to SP:

    1) PPC
    - Adwords
    - Bing
    - adbrite (depending on your niche)
    - facebook
    - stumbleupon, paid discovery (maybe not)

    2) Solo-ad
    - Buy
    - Swap

    3) WSO (I've seen a few people do that)
    - Offer free product(s)

Reminder: It's important to test your conversion rates first.. Make sure it's converting at maximum level before spending your hard earned money on driving "heavy" traffic.

    Good luck,
    Jeremiah

Less than you're making per email address generated.

I'm not being facetious - that is how you need to look at it. Exactly as Jeremiah says above, the important thing is to have your conversion-rate from each traffic-source monitored and calculated accurately, because the answer to your question depends on knowing that, and without that information you'd just be guessing.

Nobody can possibly answer that for you, without knowing all about your business: the conversion rates and commission payments for a $37 e-book on curing acne aren't the same as those for chartering a private jet, you know? They're both good and viable niches, and there are affiliates making a living from both, but their figures, and especially how much a targeted email address is worth to them, are rather a long way apart!
