How I'm merging my 149,000 targeted fans into web design

I own a page called Halo 4 Fans which is now over 149,000 fans.

It's now considered the largest dedicated Halo 4 fan base in the world (excluding the official company sites).

Money has been good from the page, especially from paying advertisers, large companies contacting me, sponsorships, partnerships, and so forth.

But now I want to merge those fans into web developers, niche marketers, etc.

Here's how I'm going to do it:

1. Ask my fans if they want to build their own gaming site and make an income from it (they do)

2. Create a page or even a whole new site and lead them into it, with complete training, videos, etc.

Profit will be from promoting domain registars, hosting providers, and other software's out there that could benefit them (optional), as well as potentially getting them into a dedicated program for gamers.

What do you think of this idea of merging my niches together?

I think that is a great idea. Bravo on coming up with a cool way to grow your business. That is impressive man.

From my point of view, I think segmenting those interested into a separate program would be best. To me, "merging" means the niches are being brought together into one, I'm not positive if this is what you mean though.

I would create a gateway within your existing Halo 4 Fans community, that is completely optional, to give people an opportunity to get in the "make money" side of your business. This way it keeps them separate, but still sends those interested, into your mm biz.

To put a limit on earnings, is not a good mindset.

I've actually made $3k alone with a small audience of only 400 people before.

If I could get the gaming market into blogging, that's a lot of potential commissions.

As long as we're speculating, you might not have a clue what you're talking about.

    Justin,

It's a good idea in principle, but be sure to test it out in a small way before putting too much time into it. Just because they say they do doesn't meant they Do doesn't mean they do!

Start with a free offer and see if it converts. If it does, scale up.

    Paul.

I can tell you right now, I already know this one is profitable. As Paul stated, I tested the project out in a small way and got someone to signup via my HostGator affiliate link.

Now to make this large scale.. That's going to take some time, but definitely worth it, especially if I can inspire those who really have a passion for gaming to take it to the next level.

I think a new site together with a fan page would be cool.. Your new site can allow target non Halo fans but are interested in making money or simply like to blog about gaming.. in turn, you may even want them to work for u..

my 2 cents~ hope it goes well for u. Cheers Warrior!
