Help for an affiliate programe

Hello,

my name is Chris, i am new here, i live in switzerland. I am very very new in internet marketing but i have 30 years practice in computer security. I made a security company, and i have services like pentest and more. I have idea to let the people who know how to make marketing to get customers.

My idea is all is yours, the price is yours, the company is yours the customers is yours.

For example, you get a customer who want an security audit of his website, you agreed with him about 200 dollar.

My audit is about 50 dollar so 150 dollar is for you.

It is an affiliate program? What do you think about it?

    It's all semantics but this is typically called a white label reseller program rather than an affiliate program and it's far more common when it's services being sold rather than products.

    Generally speaking.

    Affiliate program -

    - Sells a product
    - Price is fixed
    - Original vendor remains the vendor in the eyes of the customer
    - Original vendor collects the money and disburses it to the affiliate

    White label reseller program

    - Sells a service
    - Price is set by the reseller (although base price to provide is fixed)
    - Reseller is the vendor in the eyes of the customer
    - Reseller collects the money and pays the provider separately

        It's a great way to get more customers *IF* you can show how profitable is for them.

        If you purely look at it as a way for you to get more customers. You won't.
