I need to pay for traffic

I'm not experienced in internet marketing. I have a good "offline marketing" product that I want all the traffic I can get to. Where can I buy traffic? I've done solo ads previously, spent maybe $1,000 and got it back but I'd like something that isn't full of freebie seekers.

PPC Networks like Adwords or the Bing Network maybe...

Try BuySellAds and see if there is a related website you can advertise on.

Contact websites in your niche asking if they would advertise your product/write a review of your product

Go to Neobux.com. You can sign up as an advertiser and pay a few cents per click to your ad. You can easily build your list with this as well if you want to. You are definitely going to make lots of sales this way since there are thousands of people who use Neobux to click on ads every single day just to make money, so if you give them a good kind of ad showing them that they can make money offline marketing, then you may make lots of sales.

What niche are you in and what kind of product/service are you offering? If you are doing something different than most of your competitors than I'd say go for Press-Release.

Here are few more paid traffic methods:

    1) Youtube PPC - make sure your video is NOT full of sales-pitch, information video works best (works like charm if you have a great video)

    2) StumbleUpon paid discovery ($0.10 per view.. It's easy for your content to go viral if people share/like your site.. Quality of traffic is certainly NOT the best but it's still real people who view your ads nonetheless.

    3) Banner-Ads - Personally, I still think banner ads is still very unutilized. Manual search website that offers banner-advertisement and contact them for placement (related niche)

To be honest here you shouldn't be buying traffic until you are certain of your conversion rates of your product. This means you need to test your sales page on your website. You can do a ton of testing with adwords and you control your budget. There is no magical way to get your product in front of actual buyers without testing.

You first test with adwords, then you move onto banner and media buys, ad swaps, etc.
