About email marketing

Hello guys :-)

Iv'e posted a thread here a few weeks ago asking what's the right way of sending an offer to 1000's of relevant email addresses without spamming.

Some people here told me that I can use gmail, but better not use BCC.

So I started sending 20-30 emails every day and even got about 4-5 replies, but then after a few days I suddenly got no replies at all, so I sent this email to myself and found out that it got straight to my spam folder.

This is what it says :

"Why is this message in Spam? It's similar to messages that have been detected by our spam filters."

So...how do you guys propose I should go on?
I have a very good offer for a very specific audience, I assembled a list of 1000's of emails - but how do I get them to see this offer?

I don't think changing a word or two in the text once every 20-30 emails will do the trick...I believe google's spam filter is smarter than this...
So....ideas?

    The answer is simple...

    DON'T spam.

You are spamming them by sending unsolicited e-mail
without a valid unsubscribe link in it.

Many of the recipients would have marked your e-mails
as spam - and rightly so.

How did you obtain the 1,000's of e-mails in the first
    place?

    Dedicated to mutual success,

    Shaun

You're effectively (albeit gradually) sending bulk unsolicited email.

There are two specific problems with asking for advice about that, here.

The first is that in this forum it's not allowed to condone, advocate or advise the sending of bulk, unsolicited emails. As a moderator commented recently, in a similar thread, that's actually been considered a banning offense here for more than a decade.

The second is that we all receive a lot of that and don't like it, so it isn't a very good way to "try to get people on your side" anyway.

The bottom line is that it's something you shouldn't be doing at all. We know it, you know it, and evidently Google knows it.

Sorry, but that's how it is, and there are good and valid reasons for all of that.

Your messages will be marked as spam if you are sending the same message to multiple recipients.

It's going to be very hard to get around that.

Sorry, but I have been there and done that, and it is going to be much much harder to try and stuff those unsolicited emails to these people. It is a heck of a lot easier to start making your own list of people who are already familiar with you and have already given you permission to send emails to them.

Dont spam. Regarding to sending out Emails safely, use SMTP server provider by your ISP. To send an email to your each subscriber separately, you can use sendblaster.

Find a good email campaign marketer and start there. Unsolicited mail will only get you so far anyway.

I suggest investing some money in a relevant safelist mailing site for highly targeted traffic (i'm not talking about mailing your own personal list)

Sites such as ListJoe, The List Auction, List Bonus etc have pre qualified people you can message for a reasonable monthly or yearly fee.

Maybe I should have posted a link to my earlier message about this issue...
    The story goes like this:

I have a fiverr gig which has very good sales, but I noticed that I have 2 returning customers who order this gig almost every day again and again.
They have something in common - they both have businesses in the same very small niche and there's no way in the world anybody from that niche would be looking on fiverr or anywhere else for a service like I offer.
These 2 returning customers were browsing fiverr for other reasons and found me by mistake.
My gig has nothing special to do with their niche, but apparently it has great value for them.

So I searched goolge for websites in that niche and assembled a list of emails which I got by going to each and every site's "contact us" page.

I asked here - how can I contact these people without spamming them and people told me that what I want to do is not really spamming and I should just use gmail.

I came up with a message in which I offer them a free 1 time service to feel how it's like working with me, and I explain in 2-3 sentences why my service can help them + link to an example.

I think what I'm doing i completely reasonable and really not spammy at all.
I just need to find the correct method of doing that...
