What goes into creating your first WSO?

Hey! It's Nate. I'm actually considering creating my first WSO over the next couple weeks.

I'm kind of big into fitness, so essentially, what it will feature is a report on info I've been gathering the past year concerning weight monitoring. More importantly, how simple it is to gain, lose, or maintain the same weight over time. I've actually been able to keep my same weight, pound for pound while still eating those large pizzas and shrimp poboys for the last 365 days. (Including one BIG step that I felt was the most important.) It's actually quite easy! I feel like I'm beating the system I just plan on releasing a small report. Nothing big by any means.

I would like to make it at least 14-20 pages long. In addition, people can resell this, or market this as their own for their fitness blogs and followers. I'm all about sharing great information.

I'm sure some things such as a war room membership is required. Where can I find out more info?

Thanks!

Yes, you need a War Room membership.

Create your pdf, have a sales page prepared, then figure out your delivery system (just PayPal, using a 'helper' service like W+, etc.), and pay for your listing.

I assume you are preparing a report for other Warriors to sell. If you are expecting people here to buy a report on how they can lose weight you're likely in the wrong forum.

    What's your secret?

Hang on, don't tell me... EXERCISE?!

The weight loss industry makes me laugh. The only way to lose weight is to eat less and move more. It's not rocket science and I can't believe some of the crap people buy nowadays. Just get off the couch and start moving and you will lose weight.

Anyway, sorry for that little rant.

    You will need...

    1. A War Room Membership -- $37
    2. WSO Listing Fee -- $40
    3. Product Delivery Platform -- WSO Pro & JV Zoo are the most popular

They are the basics. With just that you can upload your file and host it on the product delivery platform you choose. I would also recommend an autoresponder though such as Aweber.com so you can capture the email address of each customer and sell/recommend other products to them in the future. In fact your priority for your first few products should just be trying to build that list as big as you can. That means giving away most of your profits to entice affiliates to promote for you. Don't make your first products about making as much money as you can otherwise they will likely bomb.

Hey Nate - I agree with Will 100%... one thing I'd probably add is to include a call-to-action in the report for something free so you can build your list even more after people start selling and promoting your report.
