i tried video marketing through YouTube and trying to make money with Clickbank and firstly, i copied some one else's video and then uploaded it and got a couple of views. i tried to optimize my video with titles and tags. but i didn't get many views. what was i doing wrong? then next day i couldn't log in to my YouTube account because it said that i had broken a guideline.

i'm also struggling to optimize YouTube videos.

so how can i optimize videos better. the video wasn't personal it was a sales page.

i didn't use the product's keywords. i just wrote lots of words to do with making money online.should i use the product's keywords next time?

has this ever happened to anyone else?

this is the message which came up when i tried to log in to the YouTube account.

Somewhere along the line you got some really bad information about using YouTube.

    - Copying someone else's video
    - Affiliate marketing ClickBank products
    - The products are about making money online.

The first is illegal, the second is not exactly favored by Google, and the third is absolutely hated by Google.

    Basically, you did everything wrong.

I see this happen a lot and people wonder why get banned right and left. It's amazing how often this happens. Its as if people gravitate to bad advice despite the mountain of information online not to do this.

If you get another account what you need to do is create your own video. Do not have affiliate links in it. And promote a "real" product like shoes. Stay away from the make money online niche, which is something you know nothing about.

As with what the others have said, copying someone else's video is a huge no-no. While none of my properties have personally gotten in trouble (with the exception of an intern at a company filing a copyright strike when someone else gave us a release, so we just have to clear it up) I can anecdotally explain a bit further why this is so bad.

I work for a very small studio/startup in Hollywood that produces several online shows. Viewership numbers matter a lot to us for sponsorship and investors, but we have had people reupload our videos or, even better, record their screens during our live broadcasts with a phone and upload it, and then monetize it. All of our stuff is available on YouTube for free as well so they not only are capitalizing on our content but taking away potential viewers. Due to the volume of these I can no longer write personal requests and just file takedown notices left and right.

Essentially though, you get three strikes from YouTube before you'll be banned so they took issue with three total things you did. When I file a takedown notice, it doesn't auto-ban the uploader or prevent them from monetizing other videos--it will only do this on the third strike they have received. Please don't take this as me endorsing you try to slip strikes by YouTube, but it's something to be aware of.

You're a thief and you deserved to get your account closed down. Youtube is better for it, as is the person who owns the video you stole.

I had one of my accounts closed and never did figure out why but this is just obvious. There are tons of good threads and products on how to do video marketing, I suggest you look around the forum and find the right way to do it.

My advice is to create a new You Tube account from scratch and be careful in following all of the terms of service. Yes, it will take some time to build up to what you had before but when you do, it will be well worth it.

I had an account closed yesterday, but all the content was unique.

Only thing I had done, was scale up my backlinks by a ratio of 10 lol. It was more an experiment than anything. The IRONIC part here is, I came back today, tried to log in, and like magic, the account was accessable again.

So I can't honestly tell you what happened. But I had the same exact message, came back 24 hours later, and was able to login. Maybe it was "borderline" too many backlinks. I honestly don't know. Next time I'll scale my backlinks X9, and maybe that won't happen lol.

considering the huge amount of free creative commons stuff out there and the existence of software to generate youtube vids, you don't have to copy someone else's stuff.

Just learn from this lesson and move on. The worst thing you can do is give yourself an entitlement mentality or try to blame others. Learn and get stronger and move on.

Lol, your trying to bank on a YT video you don't own.

Youtube has evolved, it's not the free for all it was in 2007.

Your lucky you wasn't running Adsense on that YT channel, they would have reamed you good for taking videos.

Just create a new YouTube account and don't ever copy somebody's videos so you don't get in trouble. This should be a lesson for anyone who makes the mistake of copying someone else's work, video or otherwise.

Please, before you do any more marketing online, whether it be video or anything else,
look in the forum for the advice given by other successful marketers.

Take note of it, and replicate their advice, not just blindly copy someone else's work, your lucky you were not sued.

YouTube has its built-in system that checks copyrighted content and audio on every video you upload to the site, so using someone else's work is a big no-no. That explains why YouTube closed your account.

Well, you can review clickbank product with Video, but creating your own! Then you can include the affiliate link at the video's description. Do not use somebody else's content. Google do not care if you are using affiliate links as long as you create unique/high quality content.

Copy & Paste is easy, foolish and ineffective.

First off, you took someone else's video? Who advised you to do that?
Secondly, Youtube has been banning junk affiliate marketing Youtube accounts for ages now. Weren't you aware of that?
