Currently I only have one product on clickbank and it's a dog. I want to drop it and replace it with a new product in a different niche.

It appears that I can edit both my site info and product info. Is there anything with respect to affiliates that I should be concerned about?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that having more products in your clickbank account isn't a detrimental thing. I would just add the new product to your account and keep the old one on there.

That way in the future if you decide to make it better it will still be there and you can modify it.

    Thanks for the advice gents.

    Here is my dilemma...
my clickbank site is based on a hobby niche that I created a couple of months ago. To date, it has sold one item but was refunded the next day.
I am now creating a solid product in a totally different niche that I can build and spin off future products. I want to change my clickbank site to the new domain (also so that the marketplace reference will change).
Any suggestions on how to best approach this? I'm thinking of dropping the original hobby niche product all together as I don't want to invest further time into it just to try and make it profitable. My time is best spent on the new niche.

How about just opening up a new Clickbank account and letting that old one run? You can forget about the old one, and who knows, it might make a sale every now and then.

And your new product can have a fresh start with no baggage (and asa bonus, you won't annoy any affiliates who are sending traffic to a dead page).

      Spot on.

And all it will cost is $29.

I'm not sure what clickbank's policy is on switching out your main product, without going through the approval process. One thing you should do first, is to go into your account and go to Reporting - Analytics - and do a "vendor report" for the last 7 days, and see if anyone is actively promoting your product. It will show if any affiliates have sent any traffic to your product. If anyone is actively promoting it, then you may want to just open a new account. I believe clickbank will give you a discount on any future accounts, if you contact them first.
