Selling Brand new sites on flippa, not worth it anymore?

Hello, just wanted to hear your opinion, but from my experience selling brand new sites on flippa is no longer profitable...
1- fees are too high now
2- People are just not bidding

I have Now my 4th site sold for 40-50$ and also have 2-3 which ended unsold?

Whats your experience ? Only asking about brand new sites...

I think you've indicated the problem most new site sellers have had and have actually cleared the way for people who know how to effectively use Flippa.

If you are selling brand new websites on Flippa its because you either don't have the time or the experience or the desire to build a site, get it ranked, and make money from it.

Therefore, I would look at two things:

    1. Are the sites you are selling creating a problem or a solution for your buyer? The more work they have to put into the site, the less they will pay. The more bonuses (ebooks on traffic, twitter account, traffic conversion guides, email/subscriber lists) that you give them, the more they will pay.

You are in the business of solving problems, not creating problems.

    2. Are you looking at Flippa as just the big ATM in the sky or as a place to market your business? Many new site sellers make the mistake of thinking they have to make all of their money up front. That's not where the money is....its in the list. You can't throw out the baby with the bathwater and forget that you're an internet marketer who's goal is to build a list of hungry buyers so you can keep selling them products.

    Hope that helps!

Well, that may be true for the average simple site...

But what types of sites are you selling on Flippa these days?

Simple blogs with a bit of content? Sites with products and ready salespages? Or some other type of brand new site?
