This is a great list. I would've never thought of this. I was thinking more along the lines of be patient. Do not get discouraged if you don't make money immediately.

It depends on what you're after... I mean, do you need ready cash immediately?

If that so, then you should look for ways to make it, like writing articles, selling services in fiverr, answering surveys and the like

Now, if you really want to create an online business, you should start creating, testing and getting a profitable funnel... Which can take you a while... and maybe more than a while if you try it on your own...

The best piece of advice I can give you is to start looking for real help (e.g. coaching) and let someone that had been there already take you by the hand of the whole process

the main components to a successful marketing :

Get a website or a blog

Create lots and lots of quality content, including original pictures and videos. Try to write at least 4-5 high quality articles per week on topics related to your niche.

Build an email list by offering something for free

Use all social sites you can to get traffic. Facebook. Twitter. Pinterest, G+, Linkedin etc. Youtube.

Build links to your blog from related blogs and forums.

You can also buy traffic from ppc and cpv networks as well as solo email ads.

  I wish you well, but I'm also sorry to hear it. As explained in this thread, avoiding such niches altogether is just about the single most important and worthwhile thing you can do, as a beginner.
  
  In addition to that, it's perhaps worth bearing in mind, especially since the recent Google algorithm-changes, that business models which rely on Google for their primary traffic are perhaps really not something to encourage other people to try, at the moment? (You see, if I may say so, this is one of the reasons why you shouldn't be touching this kind of "niche", as a beginner yourself, because you don't yet know this kind of stuff). Not only is SEO traffic generally very poor quality and low-converting compared with traffic from so many other sources, but it's also the most precarious kind of traffic, and means that you're not in control of your own business: a business that depends on Google for its primary traffic can never be more than one algorithm-change away from a big accident, or even a disaster, as so many Warriors have found out (some to their very great cost!) over the last year or so.

Building a list is always important. Believe in what you are doing and selling. It will not happen all at once and you will probably struggle for a while. Have a day job until you can make consistent income. Build your landing pages and focus on content. use social media to build a following as well. Don’t use back link services..they will only hurt you.

prepare your follow up massages
teach and provide value to your subscribers
