I am looking for a sure way to build my email list. I am considering Google Adwords PPC. Has anyone tried GetSubscribers to buy leads? Are these methods effective? What are some other effective methods/services?

adwords is a right head ache if im honest

they make you jump through far too many hoops

for solo ads have worked well for list building

also ppc but with the smaller networks

Try swaps with a site called safeswaps I would only do them a few times a week at most though.
The reason I say that is you do not want to irritate your subscribers.

A few times a week is a happy medium for both parties you, and your subscribers.

I think buying a solo ad then do adswap will be your fastest way to build ur list.
Make sure you take good care of your list because I think it's important to figure it out on how to build relationship in one side and to monetize the list in the other side.

BEing different with other marketers will be very important because people are now in more than 1 marketers' lists

Depends on your niche and offering. Some niches will make sense to get traffic from adwords, others will not because adwords is too expensive for that niche or type of list. So really depends. If you tell us we can help you more. No idea what GetSubscribers is.

go for solos ads. but remember to check out the seller for their clicks.. you do not want junk clicks which are worthless.. ask for testimonials and reviews for their service.

Free WSOs (or even $5 offers), solo ads, and banner ads are great for fast traffic!

GetSubscribers gets me sales every time I run a campaign, but I get a lot of people who don't know how they subscribed. No spam complaints, but it's kind of a pain.

Facebook Ads also works, but you need to do a lot of split testing to make it worthwhile.

How exactly does getsubscribers.com work? Where do they get these subscribers? How does this compare to solo ads/mailings at safe-swaps.com? Why is it slower that solo ads? Which is the best value?

      Thanks

Yo, this is what you could do to build your list fast. All you have to do is advertise on Mediafire, or any file hosting company and as you can see there's people that has promoted CB products on there and it's a way to build your list really quick or you can do solo ads man, that's really quick. But, most importantly you can brand yourself to get trust and have followers along the way.

Use BingAds if you have high search volume keywords. BingAds doesn't care much about squeeze pages in my experience.

I don't use Google Adwords for squeeze pages. I tried creating content-based pages with opt in forms and navigation menus for Adwords, but didn't get a very good conversion rate (but didn't have any approval issues either).

Don't expect conversion rates with BingAds as high as with quality solos. The best I achieved with Bing was 26% using lead gorilla plugin (same as lead rocket I think).

When building a freebie seekers list by using Google AdWords as your main source of traffic you are not allowed to offer a free incentive on your squeeze page. It is fine to offer people to subscribe to your newsletter, but no Ebook, special reports or training in any form is aloud.

Your best choice may be to build a customer list by selling informational products. Still, AdWords is very pick with the sales pages they accept since most complains come from the make money online niche.

With that being said, you can do AdWords by promoting a newsletter or one of your paid products.

Always worked for me is solo ads. Although, I been dwindling away from it because of my experience with a lot of dishonest solo providers. My main sources are PPC (2nd tier) and social media.

You don't need to spend money do build your email lists. Do a little research first.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[8011240].message }}
  • Give solo ads a go ONLY if the seller has a good reputation. There is a lot of dodgy and unethical solo ad sellers out there! The market is getting way too saturated with solo ad sellers and people are abusing the marketing! It is becoming full of sharks. So be careful!

Also depends what niche you are building your list in! IM is becoming WAY TOO saturated as just about everyone and their mom is doing it. People on IM lists are usually on 20-30 different lists. So when you buy a solo ad the value of these subscribers tends to be quite low.

You should start working with a newsletter. Its one of the most effective methods to grow your list. You should focus on a particular topic that is relevant to the niche allowing you to grow a targeted list of the most responsive customers. You should give value to your subscribers so they won't unsubscribe from your list.

Adwords suck. I got banned a couple of years ago when they went really uptight about the kind of thing they allow you to advertise. Worst of all, I STILL see ads today that are a hell of lot more 'scammy' and misleading than what I was trying to offer (a free e-book!).

If you've got the money, join Safe Swaps and hammer out solo ads. I've just obtained over 300 fresh new, responsive leads in the last 10 days or so. I've tried the long, slow, boring FREE way. It SUCKS as well. I just have no patience. I'd rather pay $80 for 200 clicks and a 35% optin rate than spend HOURS using free methods and getting 1 or 2 leads dripping in.

My old one died wasnt getting much in the way of leads and the ones I got

I am just testing out the sales funnel now and plan to buy some cheap traffic to begin testing and tweeking before spending more quality traffic

I think start with solo ads to build your list, keep your list engaged then you can swap clicks to build further. I know that is high level but I believe that is a good way to build our your list.

I had great success with solo ads and ad swaps.
But do some research about the seller, read the reviews and be critical.
Nowadays I use safe swaps and I`m really happy with their service.

Another thing you can try(as an addition) is to sign up to niche related forums and outsource the postwriting. (Haven`t tried it myself though) Forums are great for traffic.

Youtube, solos, PPC, facebook. JV giveaways, adswaps and co-reg. Building a list is fast and easy, but if you don't have sales process in place you are leaving a ton on the table.

The best way, in my opinion to build an email list, and fairly quickly would be to use social networks such as Facebook. There's really no need to spend money when you have the power of "free word of mouth" at your disposal. This would at least be how I'd start out, if I'm on a low to no budget. But if you have the funds to spare, begin advertising in places like Facebook - be sure to have your email list viewable and presentable.

You can build your list very fast, but building a responsive list takes some time.

So far from what i've learned from this forum the best way to build a responsive list is to launch high quality WSO product and then list your product @ warriorplus.com and offer 100% commission for affiliates that'll promote it.

In this way you capture your buyers email address after placing the order.

if you offer 100% and your product is of high quality you can make 1000 sales within a week from your affiliates and in return you get 1000 list of active buyer list which you'll then start promoting your offers.

But overall solo ads i think is the fast way to start building your list.

You're right in that building a fast list isn't always the best way. You can build it fast with bad traffic but it won't be responsive so it's a waste of time.

Most people who launch a WSO aren't making 1000's of sales even when offering 100% commission (this is standard) regardless of how good the product is. Look at the states on W+ and see what the sales are like, most don't even sell 50 copies.

Facebook is a good way to get an email list. Also try creating a free WSO ebook with an opt in page with name and email, sort of an easy way to get a list started. Anyvideo with an opt in page would normally generate alot of people for your list aswell. If you wanna build a list fast and cheap try PPV as it is relatively fast traffic and cheap compared to other paid traffic sources. For one of my PPV campaigns I got subscribers for 20 cents whih got me 425 subscriber. It only cost me total of $86. So it is relatively cheap and fast.

Beware of the very cheap ppc offers such as Clicksense,Adfly etc.

When i first started IM four years ago i used them to great effect building a large list in a matter of months.

And although i did manage to make sales and recurring ones at that.As time went on my emails never ever got opened.

I understand most cheap PPC offers use bots to use your clicks up fast to make themselves vast amounts of money.

You can still get proper human visits using cheap PPC but finding them is the hard part!
