Solo ad query: Ordered 100 clicks received 40 clicks so far, should I seek a refund?

Hi guys,

I had ordered 100 clicks 4 days ago and only received only 40 so far. The vendor said he'll deliver 70 more this Thursday but he only delivered 10 more since then.

It's only been 4 days in total and I'm new to this so I'm not sure how long it usually takes. Any input shall be valued.

Cheers.

when is said click supposed to be delivered?

if said period is over and you did not get what you paid for . then by all means get a refund.

The last thing you want to do is rush him as he's likely to just get you the clicks any way possible. If you want real and worthwhile clicks then sometimes it might take a little longer so I'd wait it out. If you still haven't got all clicks by Friday then I might ask for a partial refund or a resend.

It's saturday where I am so you mean 1.5 weeks after he sent it out I should ask for a partial refund/resend?

    I wouldn'.t

I buy solos all the time.

Some people take longer, some people deliver faster.

It sucks yeah, but it can payoff.

If you can afford the patience, you're better off. Just my $.02

EDIT: Maybe I jumped the gun; I didn't catch how long it took. If it took a day or two longer, no problemo.

If it's WEEKS? Then there's mucho problemo.

Well today is the fourth day since he was supposed to deliver 100 clicks. Just concerned that I won't be able to ask Paypal for a refund if I ask for a refund too late.

You have up to 45 days in which to file a dispute with Paypal, so plenty of time. Before filing a dispute you should of course try to resolve matters with the vendor. A complaint to paypal should only be made if you can't come to an agreement with the seller.

I bought a solo ad once for 500 clicks, I expected about 210-220 opt-ins as my squeeze page was converting pretty well, I ended up only receiving about 100 clicks and 10 opt-ins...

as you can guess, I was furious. So, I contacted the guy and he said to send an email out to the ten subscribers I had aquired, I thought this was a stupid idea so I said no, but in the end he persuaded me to do it ( I should also mention that the guy told me to make it a sales pitch for something fairly expensive, I had a $97 product going, so I used that.)

    and, wow...

... and seven of the ten purchased.

So, I thanked the guy and asked how he knew that would happen and he told me he was done selling solo ads and had crossed two ads in one day, so sent mine to his buyers list.

Moral of the story: Don't complain until you know exactly what you are complaining for.

I understand that you want the 100 clicks, but you never know - getting less could be a good thing.

0 conversions off of those 4 opt-ins...my autoresponder has already mailed out emails to them...if they were to buy they would've done so I suppose

  • They say only dead fish go with the flow but i will agree with advice to just go with it. In the business of finding traffic you shouldn't linger too long in one spot, especially if the attempt your stalled over was a failed one.

Just find a better vendor and maybe screen better next time, just keep moving.

Try seeing where all this traffic is actually coming from and is it converting well for you? what niche are you in?

These are the sort of questions you need to ask yourself, next time you decide to 'buy' traffic
    PPC is more expensive.

Also, I asked the solo ad vendor what niche he had success with and he told me of my niche without me telling him what my niche was before..
